Tap Into the Archives of the Soul to Discover Your Path to Inner Peace
Imagine opening a book that told the story of your life―and suddenly you realized that the painful parts held the key to knowing yourself as completely whole, well, and good. As many of Linda Howe’s students have found, this is the transformative process that we can experience in the Akashic Records, an energetic archive of the soul and its journey. With the Healing Through the Akashic Records book and companion audio-learning set, this leading expert shares how we can use our wounds―the limiting behaviors or ideas that we hold about ourselves-as a path to inner peace.
"Although our healing work takes place in the spiritual realm," teaches Howe, "this process involves clarifying our difficulties, gaining insights into them, and arriving at real-world solutions that we can bring into our everyday lives." Using Howe’s unique three-step process that she gleaned over the past twenty years of working in the Records, you’ll learn how to tap into this infinite resource to gain a soul-level perspective on your wounds and unlock their potential for growth by

HIGHLIGHTS
The golden question to ask in the Records that accelerates healing • Why your primary task on the path to healing is to become a "self-acceptor" • How to "activate" grace, gratitude, and generosity • Sixteen guided practices for healing the patterns that keep you from fully enjoying life
After nearly two decades of spiritual searching, I encountered the Akashic Records in 1994, and have been deliberately engaging them for personal growth and consciousness development (for myself and others) ever since! One of the first ideas I explored was accessing the Akasha as an infinite, spiritual resource for empowerment and transformation. At the time, I thought I clearly understood it all. Little did I know, twenty years later, I would continue to mine the riches of the Akashic Records, now recognizing that I’ve only just begun grasping the implications and meanings of “infinite” and, furthermore, may never fully understand it all!
Through these interpretations of reality and developed spiritual practices, I facilitate rich, rewarding, transformative experiences with deeper truths, providing inspired insights and useful resolutions to Life’s challenges. Whether in personal Akashic Records consultations, or in-person or online classes, working in this way provides an opportunity to see your self and life from the perspective of the Soul, empowering living in conscious alignment with authentic truths.
In a variety of venues – including Kripalu Center, Omega Institute, Infinity Foundation, and Daily Om, as well as the Linda Howe Center in Chicago – I can be found providing interesting and impactful perspectives, practices, and protocols to all who seek transformation and enlightenment in this lifetime. In my Extraordinary ordinary life, I reside with my partner of three decades and our son in a Chicago suburb.
I much appreciated Linda Howe´s first book “How to read the Akashic Records”. This is her second one; it is written at an extraordinary high level and thus seems to have been channelled directly from the Records, which it probably was.
The book is immaculately written – Linda is exceedingly articulate. The level was so high that I did not personally find it easy to read, nor, particularly, easy to digest.
Thus, I was somewhat disappointed that the book wasn´t practicable for me – it didn´t really help me to progress further in the Records, or find out how to receive healing from them, which was my goal in reading it.
We learn about the absolutes of the Akasha – Judge Not, Fear Not and Resist Not.
These admonishments are not easy to integrate into one´s consciousness. We need to keep noticing whether or not we are doing these things.
We also learn that acceptance of our woundedness is our “landing pad” into healing. The healing I require is physical healing, and I realize that emotional healing is the precursor to this. But I lacked references to, and advice about, physical healing.
An early chapter repeats the basic instructions in the first book, and this includes the necessary opening and closing prayers. This means that the book can stand alone, though I would advise “neophytes” to buy the afore-mentioned book, which is an excellent and thorough introduction to the Records.
Linda provides us with a four-step progression for transformation – Awareness of Self, Self-Acceptance, Appropriate Action, and Choice, and devotes a chapter to each.
At the level of Awareness of Self, we “wake up to the fact that we are ourselves” – we become aware of our Innermost Self. The practice of Self-Acceptance begins with the spiritual discipline of extending unconditional Love to yourself. Appropriate Action is the level at which you “address the business of taking action on your own behalf”. As regards Choice, Linda states that out of all the other possibilities in the universe, your soul picked you.
Our attention is drawn to Self-Abandonment and its causes. One of the laws of the Universe is that no-one can give you what you cannot give yourself. We can become disconnected from our Innermost Being, even though we have not had a highly dysfunctional childhood. A poor sense of self-awareness can cause a range of symptoms.
As part of our work in Self-Acceptance, we learn in all situations to say “Of course”, - “Of course I feel that way”, “Of course I did that”. I have begun to say this, and it does seem to help.
At the end of each chapter Linda presents what she calls “Akashic Reflections”, which are small exercises containing suggestions of what to ask for in the Records,
Linda admits that we do not realize instantaneous healing with this work. We need to grow into our healing.
Part Four of the book deals with “Working with the Ascension Matrix” and contains chapters on Gratitude, Grace and Generosity.
Unfortunately, I don´t own this book, otherwise I would immediately begin to re-read it, which would assist with its digestion and full comprehension.
It is a wonderful book, filled with wisdom, but, as stated, I did not find it very practicable. I would advise potential readers to start with Linda´s first book and read this one afterwards.
Sometimes it's good to read about ideas that you think are silly because learning other perspectives is good. I'm sorry I spent the time doing that in this case.
This was ok...I honestly was a little disappointed....Ms. Howe does plead an interesting case when breaking down what exactly the akashic records are and how these beings of light can help one to heal. unfortunately, this particular method did not work for me...I tried to follow her instructions and see what I could and did get a few answers, but, I find that my inner intuition works better by just going into deep meditation to find the answers I seek without all of this...I don't know...I'm sure that others may find this book helpful, but, it just didn't work for me...Average at best....
Having read the first book, I was intrigued to learn that Howe has two others in this series. Even though reading the first book isn't necessary, I found it helpful to use this book as a review and it allowed me to finish it sooner and apply the exercises included that much faster. This book was so illuminating and honestly it's even better than the first. There is just so much to unpack--from learning how to use the Records to heal old wounds to learning how to access our
Very powerful. I loved listening to this on MP3. Every time I went into the Akashic Records, I learned something new and beneficial. The whole experience was extremely healing.
I loved the ascension matrix at the end of gratitude, grace and generosity.
Ms Howe has several books on this subject. In this particular one, she gives less background info on herself, delving quickly into the subject matter we purchased the book for.
Good stuff.
This won't replace taking a class with a professional guide, but it will give you a solid feel on what to do, how to do it, and why you should be doing it.
I'd heard about the Akashic Records here and there in passing and wanted to read more about them. This book is less an explanation and more an exploration. I tried the meditation exercises and found them to be gentle and helpful. Working through the book felt very self-nuturing.
I attempted to listen to the audiobook however it was so poorly edited I couldn’t get through the first chapter. All the mm hmms, okays, and repeated words are maddening.
This was a pivotal resource. It helped me understand that my 'wounds' aren't random acts of cruelty to be endured. They often held the keys to my deepest growth. Howe offered me a way to look at past pain not with judgment, but with self-acceptance. I am grateful to have learned a practical, tangible way to ask questions that encourage curiosity. It helped me shift from asking 'Why me?' to 'What can I learn?'
