The further exploits of an apprentice secret again, after fitted with nanotronic eyes that can operate over most of the EM spectrum. Horace and Aubrey report to the colonel in VPHQ to learn about the latest situation regarding the Buckman Robotics company. He tells them about a new terrorist group in Morocco that has been paid to undertake an unspecified attack.The agents' team arrive in Morocco, where a helicopter leaves them near to the suspected mountain hideout. They locate and overcome the terrorists, and find a tablet computer revealing a letter from Dr. Falco’ with his plans for rescuing Beckmann, from his VPHQ jail, assisted also by a sleeper agent already working there.Back in VPHQ, Horace's eyes use a new X-rays ability to identify the sleeper with unexpected results..The team with their robot, Robbo, inherited on a previous mission, arrive at the American naval base in Cuba, and join the CIA team on a large aircraft carrier. A briefing session requests they investigate part of Buckman´s island where some robots have just been seen, before the main onslaught can begin. The 3 agents, with two marine demolition experts, come ashore and Battle Robots confront them. Bronsky overrides Robbo's protection algorithm allowing Horace to be abducted. He is forcibly taken to Buckman´s robot construction plant on the island, but with unexpected help, escapes back to the ship. The team, return to where they were attacked before Finding a tunnel they discover Buckman's main assembly and storage areas for the battle robots, allowing the main assault on Buckman’s island to begin.
