I was told off as a child for making up stories—little did I know that one day I’d earn my living by writing them!

To the horror of my parents, I left school at sixteen and held a bewildering variety of jobs: I was a London DJ (in the now-trendy Primrose Hill), a decorator and a singer. After that I became a cook, a photographer and, eventually, a nurse. I waitressed in the south of France, drove an ambulance in Australia, saw lots of beautiful sights but could never settle down. Everywhere I went I felt like a square peg—until one day I started writing again and then everything just fell into place. I felt like Cinderella must have when the glass slipper fit!

Today, I have the best job in the world, writing passionate romances for Harlequin. I like writing stories which are sexy and fast-paced, yet packed full of emotion—stories that readers will identify with, laugh and cry along with.

My interests are many and varied—chocolate and music, fresh flowers and bubble baths, films, cooking and trying to keep my home from looking burglarized! Simple pleasures—you can’t beat them!

I live in Winchester, one of the most stunning cities in the world, but don’t take my word for it—come see for yourself! I regularly visit London and Paris. Oh, and I love hearing from my readers all over the world…so I think it’s over to you!

Re One Wedding Required - Sharon Kendrick totally lives up to the StMargarets Exclamation Point in the Title Warning on this one.

This book is seriously TACKY. But as it is the second book in the Wanted:One Wedding Dress trilogy, HP Voyagers will just have to suffer through.

This one features one of the daughter's of the original wedding dress owner. When the story starts, this h doesn't know that the h and H from the first book have found the original dress. The h does know that her sister, who is the h in the next book, has gotten the first book's h to promise to make this h a copy of the dress for this h's supposedly up and coming wedding.

This h is engaged to her boss H. She met him when she was 19 or so and wanting an escape from a life of cleaning hotel rooms and poverty. This h is really stunning in looks and thought she could be a model and earn a nice living for herself.

She went to the H's modeling agency and while she wasn't tall enough for modeling, she became one of his assistants and moved in with him a few years later. When the story starts the h is giving a tabloid magazine reporter an interview about how she and the H got engaged.

The big salacious detail the h inadvertently reveals is that the H proposed during a party in a bathroom where they had just finished having a big passion moment. The h has been head over heels in love since the H took her unicorn grooming licence, but strangely, after the big bathroom engagement proposal, (complete with huge diamond ring,) there has been no mention of any type of wedding ever since.

The h is starting to wonder if the H really meant for them to get married. He claims he only proposed the first time to keep the multiple women who want to chase him away. So in her insecurity, because the H is being very evasive, the h grants an interview in the hopes that seeing her wedding announced in print will move the H to name the day.

It backfires, because the H is really incensed. Then the H starts acting even more strangely and the h has to contend with the suspicion that another woman is probably luring him away. The H recently signed a new model with a mother that is a former model too.

It seems the H has been spending a lot of 'quality time' with the duo and the h isn't getting any H time herself. Even tho the sex with the H has taken on a derogatory quality for the h lately, she just can't seem to tear herself away.

The H has supposedly also been working full out opening a branch of his agency in New York and the h is concerned that the H is too busy burning the candle at both ends. The arguments between them escalate and the h is convinced the H is trying to drive her away.

There are several minor work crises and the H is looking more and more tired, but he doesn't confide in the h and when he organizes his annual New Year's Eve party without any input from the h, (where she had always helped before,) the h figures that their relationship has had it's final day.

The h spends the night alone in her sister's flat and shows up at the H's right as the party starts. She tells the H to have the courtesy to just tell her their relationship is done, if that is what he is trying to do and the H doesn't have a verbal answer.

Instead he kisses the mother of his newest model in a full out snog session on the piano with all of his guests and the paparazzi looking on. The h gets the message and takes off as she is made a fool of in the papers. A short time later, her sister returns from a trip abroad and while the h was having a mopey moment.

The h goes to the hospital and the OW is there with a letter dismissing her from the H's life. The h isn't allowed to see the H and it was really, really pathetic how the h was made to beg and then the OW turned her away.

The h takes herself to France, her sister has finally hooked up with her own long time crushed upon boss, but the h needs to rebuild her self esteem and try to figure out what she is going to do next. Sadly she doesn't let any dashing Frenchmen sweep her away, she just mopes about and looks sad.

Then her sister calls her up, the H wants to see her. The h stupidly goes, and then the whole pathetic situation is revealed. The H was supposedly faking an affair with the OW to make the h go away because he thought he had Guillain-Barré and he did not trust her enough to think she would stay.

So to prove to himself that the h is an amendable doormat no matter what, he entices her to seduce him while he is pretending to be paralyzed in wheelchair. The h takes the bait and then the H stands up.

When the h recovers from her faint, the H reveals that it was all test of the h's love and devotion, but the h has revealed her full doormat throw rug status and now he will happily marry and walk all over her.

The last bit is the h and H's wedding, in the h's mother's wedding dress, with her sister and the h from the first book in full pimp out the h mode. The h from the first book is preggers and this H and h are no longer in the modeling business, the h thinks the H is going to do something in the political world. Next up is this h's sister, in the final book of the trilogy.

Seriously, unless you really want to torture yourself with the voyeuristic angstfest of watching a woman's backbone slowly slither away, there are much better HP voyages than this, ones that actually have a believable and non Typhoon of Tackiness HEA.

4 Stars! ~ Deep inside Amber knew there was something terribly wrong with her relationship with Finn. The more successful his modeling agency became, the harder he worked and the more Amber felt unimportant in his life. As we are not privy to Finn's thoughts and emotions, we see the relationship collapse through Amber's eyes and we can't help but share her fear and insecurity. Finn and Amber do have their HEA, though their journey was detoured and blocked several times along the way. I read this one in one sitting!

Author's work is surprisingly deep. The writing is fluid but I can't seem to grasp it as easily as it looks. There's nothing wrong with it, I even love the story but we don't click, I guess. It's just a terrible timing all around. Nothing specifically wrong just opposing wavelengths. I hate it when this happens. The writers you like can't produce a quality story you want and the quality story you like can't read like you want. Tragic star-crossed affair.

It was terrible. It could have ended in 5minutes if he had just told her about his illness, but he had some stupid reason not to. She was also an idiot for getting back with him too after the way her treated her, even if he only treated her that way because he wanted her to leave him, WITHOUT even letting her make an informed decision.

Rule number 2: For the perfect wedding...set a date!

Amber O'Neill was engaged to her boss, Finn Fitzgerald. Now all she needed to do was agree on a date for the wedding and find the perfect dress!

Then Finn became aloof and distant; he was pushing Amber away. She wondered whether it was just pre-marriage jitters, or was there something he wasn't telling her? Either way, Amber wasn't going to let Finn go. She wanted him to want her--for better, for worse...and in his bed!
