I would have liked this if I was getting married in 1950. Totally old fashioned, unreasonable, and out of date.

This book has lots of information covering a wide variety of wedding types, and the checklists included are very helpful.

I am in the process of planning my wedding and since a wedding planner is not in the budget I went to the library for some help. The Everything Wedding Book was the most helpful book by far of the three I checked out.

Having everything broken down into chapters and then subsections made it extremely easy to follow along. I also photocopied many of the pages to use in aiding myself with planning the wedding. The checklist of things to do and way things are set up for invitation and thank you cards was the most helpful for me.

All in all full of good ideas, etiquette, and things I had not even thought of.

An excellent resource for anyone planning a wedding. Martin covers a wide range of subcategories under the broad label of "wedding". In the book you will also find a detailed chapter on how to make your wedding eco-friendly. I have not seen this topic in other wedding planning books that I have read.

I will be referring to this book in the coming months on a regular basis. With Martin's solid writing and coverage of wedding topics, I feel more confident that I can plan a successful and beautiful wedding.

My favourite wedding book that I have read so far! Tons of great tips and an amazing budget sheet that I will use for my upcoming wedding! It even had social media tips that I have not seen in any wedding book so far. A must read for any bride to be!
