David had been seeing the lumps grow out of the living-room walls nearly every day for the past few weeks. They danced across the wallpaper, created complex geometric shapes and followed the other members of his family around. Were they trying to communicate with him? Why wouldn’t anyone else see them?

Then someone did and they saw them too. How the lumps reacted to this was far worse than David could have imagined...

Lumps is a short story of 5000 words.

Ian Woodhead is just past the age of forty. He lives in the north of England and is married to a wonderful woman. He has forgotten how many children he has. He had been writing for nearly twenty years but has only just gained the confidence to start showing his work. Ian finds it a little creepy writing about himself in the third person.

I thought this story was very gross but fun. If your a horror junky and like something dark and icky then this is the story for you.

Lol that was strange. I would have been frightened if that happened to someone I know.

I really enjoyed this story, but I have to agree with previous reviewers, I thought that it could have been a tad longer. Thank you Ian for the fun read! (I am currently reading The Unwashed Dead)
