About the author

José Ortega y Gasset was a Spanish liberal philosopher and essayist working during the first half of the 20th century while Spain oscillated between monarchy, republicanism and dictatorship. He was, along with Kant, Schopenhauer, and Nietzsche, a proponent of the idea of perspectivism.

Sebbene abbia tante cose da ridire e da riprendere, mi è piaciuto parecchio. Ortega scrive in maniera molto fluida rispetto a tanti altri filosofi contemporanei e il suo messaggio arriva chiaro e diretto. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la semplicità nel suo modo di scrivere e di esprimere il suo pensiero, e anche la sua modernità e attualità che rivelano un carattere che appartiene alla filosofia che la rende sempre presente, sempre tra di noi, sempre svelata. I love this and I loved how much he thought and wrote about it.
