Percy Goody is ecstatic when he reconnects (via Facebook) with his old Army buddy, Kevin “Knuckles” Mason, whom he hasn’t seen in fifteen years. Percy and his wife, Giselle, invite Kevin to their new home for the weekend. The couple assumed Kevin would visit for two days and leave, but when the two-day visit turns into two weeks, Percy and Giselle realize Kevin is a “squatter” who has no intention on leaving. In fact, Kevin boldly announces his intention to take over the Goody home…and there isn’t a thing they can do about it.

I have not read a book in months, and Leave was the perfect one to get me back into the swing of things. The plot twist toward the end literally made me gasp. Smith delivers an original storyline which is a quick read.

Wow!! Left my mouth hanging open

I am so shocked at how the story turned, I never would have guessed that would be the outcome. Percy and Giselle' marriage was just not working out, and trying to stay together just for an inheritance made it even worse when one person didn't want to be there anymore. Kevin and Hoodie the "squatters" were a real piece of work, that's why you have to be careful who you let in your house. I don't want to give to much away, so all I'm going to say is you need to read this book!! Brian Smith never disappoints with his writing.

Wow 😳 This was a great read indeed. My emotions were tossed from intrigue to shock; from being appalled to flabbergasted; from feeling aroused to disgusted... All I can say is, "Damn, Brian can write ✍️🏽 " In addition to being thoroughly entertained you'll find that his look into the human psyche through the wisdom of his characters is rather interesting(and at times too on point). If you're looking for a treat, pick up LEAVE. You will not be disappointed and the plot twist will LEAVE you speechless.

This was a quick but wholly satisfying page turner, as are his other novels.

Can't wait until Black Pearls Keeping it Real book club discusses this one.

"Leave" the latest book by Brian W. Smith has the correct title. It leave you asking yourself, "Did I miss the clues, why I judge the characters by their actions" and the end was WOW not what I expected. Brian has written another best-selling novel.

Unbelievable

I always love Brian W. Smith's books but this one is now at the top of my list. The way everything unfolds and flows is remarkable. I never saw the ending coming. I would suggest this book to anyone that loves to read.

The book started slow but I really enjoyed the storyline. I was not expecting what was going to take place next as the book went on. But it would not be a Brian W. Smith book without a mystery of events. Its a must read.
