As a beginning runner, I picked up this book in order to help ward off some of the discomfort I was experiencing, such as blisters and muscle soreness. Dr. Maharam has written an excellent, well-organized book with clear diagrams, a thorough index and helpful tips and strategies for dealing with common running injuries. A great resource.

Good reference but always get a proper diagnosis from a medical professional.

I liked this. Up-to-date medical information is always welcome, and this was written in a less formal, conversational style which I found easy to read.
