Stacy M. Jones is a criminologist turned crime novelist whose thrillers pulse with a realism that only decades working with law enforcement can bring. That firsthand experience fuels her fiction, stories rooted in authentic criminal psychology, human complexity, and high-stakes emotion.
Since 2018, Stacy has written four series, ranging from gritty FBI thrillers and hard-boiled private eye mysteries to her lighter paranormal cozy series. Her series include the completed cozy paranormal Harper & Hattie Magical Mystery Series, the completed hard-boiled PI Riley Sullivan Mystery Series, the FBI Agent Kate Walsh Thriller Series and the new Connor Fitzgerald Thriller series.
Stacy holds master’s degrees in forensic psychology and journalism and for now calls Little Rock, Arkansas home, though her storytelling always carries a trace of her upstate New York roots.

Second...tell me why I love the Phantom. Like helloooo he's charming, I wanna have a cafe lunch with him. and I may or may not have thought of Phantom of The Opera the entire time-
I actually enjoyed seeing a past snippet with Kate and Declan. Though strange since they're relationship is a little different now.
Talbert was interesting, I wonder if we'll see from him again, I think it would be fun to see how Declan would react since him and Kate are teetering on the romance line.
One of my favorite parts:
"Tell me why you take history and beauty from the world?"
"The simplest answer is because I can. I take magnificent works of art because the masses do not truly appreciate them. Mademoiselle, if we had more time, I'd sit with you like we did this morning and tell you all my tales, but this isn't that kind of story. That isn't our fate despite how lovely you are."
I'll take a whole book of Phantom and Kate, their entire interactions were so fun to read!
The Curators is a series starter only available when signing up for the newsletter.
Kate and Declan are specialist FBI agents that have been called to Paris after the arrest of "The Phantom" who is the lead of "The Curators" art thieves. But maybe the French police are wrong...
Taken in many directions and loved it. Not one but two crimes. One solved, and one your teased with. Seems that being a FBI Agent rubs people a little. Stacey and Declan have to put on softer shoes to get anywhere. Connections help in the end to the dismay of the French Police who really do not want them there but are seeminly grateful in the end.
Good book, I am enjoying this series. Whip smart women detective and her partner. Will continue with this series as well as try the others by this author. She is in Paris to interview an art thief.
