The Lori Foster Bookjunkys has been hard at work doing a ?troop project.? Through generous donations and the organizational finesse of Laurie Damron, fun, heartwarming, and sometimes necessary items are bought and shipped to our beloved troops. This cookbook is their way of further contributing to the cause. Over 90 authors, and a handful of dedicated readers, have offered up their favorite recipes for this publication, and all their proceeds will go toward the ?troop project.?

About the author

Since first publishing in January 1996, Lori Foster has become a USA Today, Publisher’s Weekly and New York Times bestselling author. Lori has published through a variety of houses, including Kensington, St. Martin’s, Harlequin, Silhouette, Samhain, and Berkley/Jove. She is currently published with HQN.

Lori hosts a very special annual “Reader & Author” event in West Chester, Ohio. Proceeds from the event have benefited many worthy causes, including the Hamilton County YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter, the Animal Adoption Foundation, The Conductive Learning Center for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy, and The One Way Farm, Children’s Home.

A fun and all inclusive collection of recipes from many of my favorite authors.
Divided by categories, these sound delicious and range from very simple to elegant.
While I do wish there was an index of the recipes included, having to page through each section makes me find ideas and offerings I might have missed.

What could be better than a cookbook filled with recipes from your favorite authors. Like any cookbook there are some winners and some that I would never make. But the best thing about this one is some of the side notes the authors have put in with the recipes. I copied out a bunch and look forward to trying them out.

Ordered this book for myself and few others for gifts for friends who love to cook! I finally made a few recipes today by Lori Foster & Toni Blake that were SO EASY & Easter appropriate ! I can't wait to try most of these as they are EASY & book cost was for charity ! Beautiful cover & great concept ! Thanks to all who contributed!

It reminds me of a church or school fundraising cookbook. That's not a bad thing but it's not unique or exciting.
