About the author

Brooklyn June

June first discovered his love of writing in public school where he dazzled his teachers with his creative short stories and intriguing poems. His writing was acknowledged locally when it was featured in his graduating class yearbook.
He abandoned his love for writing for the dangerous life on the streets of Brooklyn. His involvement changed from petty crimes to becoming a major distributor of illegal drugs out of state. During his tenure in these activities he was convicted and incarcerated. His time behind bars gave him new insight but when released on parole he went right back to the life that put him behind the barbed wire fences.
here was no stability in his life and the only person he was responsible for was himself but the birth of his first daughter changed the way he viewed life and he set out to change his existence.
June enrolled into college to pursue his Degree where his creative writing ability was again showcased in this setting and recognized by his English professors.
While pursuing his degree, tragedy struck and one of his closest friends was brutally murdered. Not knowing how to deal with the loss he channeled his pain into something that came to him naturally, he wrote the story.
June began penning his novel This Game Has No Loyalty and incorporated his own experiences into his writing to produce the “realness” his story needed to capture his audience. He created his publishing company, FourShadough Publishing to self publish his body of written work.
In 2013 he was discovered by Ashley & JaQuavis and offered a spot on as a signed author to their new publishing company O.W.L.- Official Writers League. His title International Regime is scheduled to be released 2014-2015.
June is currently penning the follow up to his This Game Has No Loyalty Series.

This games has no loyalty part 2 by June

Second Time Around

I was looking forward to reading part two. I wanted to see how these youngsters matured and handle real life situations. In book one I felt they were a little immature and I wasn't disappointed in the least bit with part two and look forward to part three. From the first page the action is in full force and just gets better with the more pages you read. Author June has done his thing with this one. The gang that survived is all back and up to their old tricks. Staying true to the title all the usual suspects are here deceit, snitching, murder, guns, drugs all of this and more.

Junior is still trying to weed out the "real" dudes in his camp. Still between a rock and hard place with Muffin and Shondra, will he make a choice and choose one over the over? As Junior tries to pick up the pieces and start over some new youngin’s are introduced and Junior tries to school them as he learned the hard way. New obstacles and some old ones will make this a real page turner. Tune in as author June has mastered his skills and turned into quite the storyteller.

I enjoyed this successful sequel and while I know there is a part three, I'm looking forward to seeing how this ends. I am also waiting to see what else this author has to offer us. I am ready to read about some new characters and believe he won't disappoint, as he has become quite the teller of tales. I hope he doesn't keep us readers waiting too long. I would be remiss if I didn't give props for releasing part two and three at the same time hmm...can we start a trend here?

Okay

This part was just okay. Out of all the characters, I feel like Junior was the most disloyal. He made a little money and started feeling himself. He just totally disrespected Shondra over Muffin then acted like she did something. Yeah his workers weren't loyal either but that's how that goes. He was just getting his feet wet but he really didn't know what he was doing. He was getting sidetracked by his women and wasn't focused on his money. This wasn't as good as the first part. There was drama but more between Shondra and Muffin. After his little altercation with Craig, he started acting like a Mitch. That's when it went downhill for me. I will read part 3 because it could still get better.

Junior finds himself in a strange position, he is met at Shondra's front door by NYC's finest and he is trying to figure out what he should do. While the NYPD are trying to pin a murder rap on him, Junior is trying to deal with being in love with both Shondra and Muffin. Shondra wants things to go back to the way that they were while Muffin wants to prove that she can be better for Junior than Shondra ever was. Craig is trying to encourage Junior to get his head on straight and handle his business because there is money to be made and while Junior is being messy all around and can not handle his troops and that allows for the enemy to infiltrate. While there is money to be made in the hustling game, there also brings a body count for those who don't prove their loyalty. Make no mistake in the count and be sure to double check the pulse, because there is a ghost coming back for revenge.

This Game Has No Loyalty II picks up right where part one left off with the same level of intensity that has you wanting and needing more. I love June Miller's writing style and I love that his characters are very animated, it is almost like you can hear them talking and arguing with one another. I love that type of flow, it doesn't feel forced. Great Job!

Wow

So in this part 2, Junior continues his quest of ruling the projects. His relationship with Shondra is shaky at best. Muffin has turned into Junior's Ride or Die chick. Action packed all the way. Looking forward to part 3. I recommend this book.
