after reading this book, i left more confused then ever. we will never know the truth , when someone try to hide the truth. My opinion , she was murder.
aaaaaaaawful. Slatzer seems to bend the facts and evidence to make a tragedy look like a government or mafia assassination and coverup. There is no doubt he cared a great deal about Marilyn, but I do not believe his story of being a long time confidant and lover, nor do I believe he was ever married to Marilyn....funny how he seems to be able to produce "solid evidence" of everything but that. I'm in no way implying that some of his theories may be on the right track, but one thing he does get right is how much of a mystery it is. I'm not sure we will ever know just what happened to poor Marilyn.
Well written, but I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories. Sorry. I, too, consider myself a Marilyn historian, and I believe in all of my heart that she took her own life.
