My Very First Joke Book by Kaye Umansky is a short treat for young readers with clean and punny jokes. From silly rhymes to knock-knock jokes and What Do You Get When You Cross it has a lot of variety for a little book. With the style of a joke-a-page this makes the perfect book for younger kids who like silly things. The illustrations in black and white are quite funny too and sometimes also helps clarify the jokes if they are playing with abstract and concrete concepts.
Ideal for 5-8 year olds.
