After having this on my wishlist for years, I requested and received it through my local public library via Interlibrary Loan. Thank goodness! I applaud the author's research and compilation of loads of old, hard-to-find photos and newspaper clippings, interview quotes, and reminiscences from friends and acquaintances because apparently Ms. Montgomery was a very private person. However, the book is in dire need of editing, proofing, and organization. Typos, missing photographs, and confusing or non-existent captions for photos abound. Huge disappointment.
