Siren Menage Erotic Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/F] Sarah's moving from Seattle to Miami when a cranky car and a terrifying brush with a serial killer leave her stranded in the middle of the dark and desolate South Dakota plains. Captain Plato Delaney of the South Dakota Highway Patrol is on the killer's trail, and Sarah is the only living witness. With limited funds and nowhere to go, Del invites her to stay with him and his lover, John Riley, himself a retired Trooper. It's not long before the killer is on Sarah's trail...and she's in Del and John's bed. Now the men have to protect Sarah against a killer who stays one step ahead of the law. But Sarah's flashes of intuition prove to be stronger than any of them thought, and her conversations with the ghost of a little boy murdered decades earlier might be the key to saving them all from another Dead Moon Rising. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
The mystery surrounding Sarah is the initial point bringing the lead characters together. The quickness of the relationship developing is unsettling, but it is an erotic romance so I guess reality can be suspended. There was tremendous emotional depth to all of the characters and it was nice to "see" the relationship develop between all 3 of the main characters. The background characters had enough emotional depth to make them interesting enough to participate in the storyline. The editing was refreshingly well done. There were few page break errors, which made the book relatively easy to read. It was a fast paced read that had me turning pages impatiently trying to figure out who-dunnit while still staying very invested in the relationship between the 3 main characters. Without knowing Macy Largo is another pen name for Tymber Dalton/Lesli Richardson, the story had all the calling cards of her style. I whole heartedly recommend this book for anyone not afraid of things that go bump in the night.
Sarah is a young woman with an extraordinary gift. She travels from her home in Seattle Washington to her uncle's home in Miami Florida, but when her car breaks down in South Dakota, she is found by police officer Plato “Del” Delaney who is investigating a very serious set of crimes happening in the town. He takes her to his home and has his lover John (who is a retired officer) watch over her. John and Del fall in love with Sarah and vice versa, and they form a delicious three-some. Together, John, Del and Sarah find love and danger.
I give Dead Moon Rising four Tea Cups because it kept me on the edge of my seat and I never once wondered if the story was over yet, in fact, I didn't want it to end! The love scenes were amazingly written and were perfectly graphic; I give it a heat score of three. I hope there is more to read from Ms. Largo, and if there is, I can't wait to find the stories and devour them.
I picked this book up back in 2010. I started it and realized it had a paranormal element: a ghost. I usually hate books with (shudder) ghosts, so I put it away. I later learned that Macy Largo was actually Tymber Dalton. She is one of my favorite authors and when a reading challenge gave me the opportunity to read a "favorite author" book, I thought of this one. I'm glad I got back to it! Nice steamy mm and mmf love scenes, a great story line and I became quite fond of the ghostly Robbie. Four stars.
LOVED this story. But if you are a Tymber Dalton fan (wink wink), of course you are going to love this too. I wish it had been longer because I enjoyed it so much. But either way, it was such a well rounded story. Suspenseful, romantic, sexy, a little supernatural edge to it too. Nice story!
Apart from that last creepy scene with the baby...it was okay. I didn't love it but it wasn't a complete waste of my time so I guess it was better than some. So why only two stars? Well. Mostly I think the romance wasn't all that good. It was based solemnly on sex, they didn't really talk much or got to know each other. The men jumped into a relationship with her way too fast for it to have any credibility. I also found Sarah a little weird, not about her supposed psychic powers, those I actually understood, but about her behavior and way of talking. She let herself be swayed to be with them both out of the blue. She never questioned anything, not really, and she just seemed childish. And her vocabulary...boy that one was hard to swallow (no pun intended). She dished "Yeah", "Uhnn"(not even a word girl!) and "yes please" as if she never learned the full alphabet, I swear. Little girl talk, believe me. Not the greatest thing in the middle of a serious talk. Not that they any many of those either but you get my point. It was pretty disappointing. I also think the author shouldn't have kept this book between paranormal and normal because she ended up not achieving either very well. More like a weird mixture.

HOT menage story with some suspense and mystery built in. Gotta love it!
Del and John are lovers. John is a retired highway patrol officer. Del is current patrol officer. They live together in peace and quiet in a small town in SD. Sara gets stranded in said small town and barely escapes a serial killer. Now the guys are protecting her from the killer and seducing her at the same time.
I loved the mystery and suspense. I did figure our who the killer was about 3/4 way through the book. I also liked the paranormal aspect to the story. It added something extra to the story without taking over! I also really liked how technology played a part in this story.
My only complaint is that Sara fell into the menage relationship really easily. Didn't take much for her to jump in. Even though she was relatively inexperienced and had never done anything like this before. They guys were great and their pasts were explained so it was believable. I do think they fell into pretty quickly without much discussion as well.
Good Story! I'll have to check out more from this author!
Great story overall, the other comments were spot on. Which means i will have to mention what they didn't :D
So i will start with the positive. The pace was fast and never a dull moment. Loved the paranormal aspect of it,not too much but just enough to make it believeble. The sex scenes were hot, well tought and described and i love a good m/m,m/f/m.
Now for the negative part (spoilers alert...maybe) The romance tho cute and understandable, felt rushed. The guys "fell in love" way too fast, and she accepted waaaay too fast and easy to "forever"with them both, especially after getting dumped and thrown out her ex's appartement just days before.
And yes,i know i said the sex scenes were hot,but there was clearly mentioned "Mike introduced her to rimming" the first time they had sex, which led me to believe that she never had any back way action prior. And the next day the 3 of them went straight for DP. Yes,it was well described, well done and super hot,but it was deffinately irealistic to me,and a deal breaker. I had multiple problems with this, and i don't even know where to begin. Like i was waiting for maybe some anal play prior to straight DP? Or maybe her being at least bit curious seeing her 2 guys having some fun between them too?
I don't know,it felt wayyy too rushed and her taking it all the way up with no pain,no problem,no nothing...wow maybe i should try it too.
Another aspect that bothered me,i had read lots and lots of other comments on other books about how a gay couple meet a girl,a third to theyr relationship, and the rest of the book focuses on her,and there are no more actions of the 2 guys togheter. Like what they had before completely dissapeared and doesn't matter anymore, cause there a pussy in the house now.
Well guess what? This book is exactly the same. So yeah,i wouldn't of had read it,had i known. It was a nice enough book, but yeah.

An intense and erotic romance set in the context of the search for a serial killer, a person seen by Sarah as she is trying to nurse her ailing car down the Interstate. Rescued by a state trooper patroling that section of the highway, she is brought to his home initially as a temporary haven until she can move down toward her ultimate destination with her uncle in Florida. But her witness of various aspects of the case and bits and pieces of evidence that mean Sarah's life is in danger. She is also extraordinarily intuitive and her meetings with a little boy who died in the same area as the current victims gives assistance in catching the perpetrator. A wonderful story of Sarah's relationship with Del--the trooper who rescued her, and John--a retired trooper whose service-related injury cut short his career, and how her presence in their lives eventually resulted in her become their "third."
I debated on this one between 3 and 4 stars, but based on the story line itself, went with 3. I really enjoyed the relationship, and the sex was pretty good. The 'mystery' fell flat for me, though. I knew who the bad guy was immediately, and thought the characters were kinda stupid for not figuring it out. I thought it was funny that the heroine kept calling herself too stupid to live, and I definitely agreed with her the second time. Overall, an enjoyable love story, but don't read it for the mystery.
Macy Largo did an amazing job. It was a page turner from beginning to end. Sarah's intuition saved her life in more than one way. It saved her from a serial killer and brought her to Del and John. The sex scenes were hot! I loved the plot. Every time Robert came into the picture I would get goose bumps. I will be buying more from Macy Largo in the future!
I love anything written by Tymber Dalton, no matter which name it is written under. This was no exception. From the very beginning I was hooked on the characters. There was mystery, love, and even paranormal.
I can only say I loved it and would recommend everyone read it!
This was a good read with likeable characters and a good, but predictable, plot. The whole relationship happened a little too fast for me and it seemed as if the guys focused completely on her rather than each other when she moved in.
I had this book for a while now and decided to read it today and it had me from the first page. It is a great mix of romance and mystery. I will absolutely be reading more books from these two.
I love physic paranormal and a little ménage doesn’t hurt. This is a simple love and mystery story told in a straight line —no twists. Well written and leaves room for you to imagine a little more.
This is the second time I've read this book. Liked it the second time just as much add the first. Great character development and really good story. Looking for more by this author but having trouble finding anything.
This book was awesome! I figured out who the bad guy was by halfway but that didn't keep it from being a page turner. I would recommend this book to all my friends!
Where to rank this one? Heck, I've not found a book by Tymber Dalton that I didn't love. Her unique way of writing is awesome. Love the series and stand along.
Truthfully, the only reason I gave this 4 stars, is the length. Loved the story and premise, just wish there was more of it. Still, Tymber does a great job, as always.
