الكتاب الأخضر كتاب ألفه العقيد معمر القذافي عام 1975 وفيه يعرض أفكاره حول أنظمة الحكم وتعليقاته حول التجارب الإنسانية كالإشتراكية والحرية والديمقراطية، حيث يعتبر هذا الكتاب بمثابة كتاب مقدس عند معمر القذافي.

يتكون الكتاب الاخضر من ثلاثة فصول:
الفصل الاول: الركن السياسي ويتناول فيه مشاكل السياسة والسلطة في المجتمع.
الفصل الثاني :الركن الاقتصادي فيه حلول المشاكل الاقتصادية التاريخية بين العامل ورب العمل.
الفصل الثالث :الركن الاجتماعي وفيه طروحات عن الاسرة والام والطفل والمراة والثقافة والفنون.

The de facto leader of Libya since 1969 although he hasn't got an official title he is often referred to as "Guide of the First of September Great Revolution of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya" and "Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution"

His policy is reffered to as an mix of Pan-Arabism and Islamic socialism. Although nowaday he calls for Pan-Africanism as well.

His politicial philosophy is outlined in his booklet the "Green Book"

On august 2008 Qaddafi has been titled Africa's king of kings by an council of 200 kings of Africa in Libya.

كتبت هنا مراجعة في يناير 2012 و حصلت على 65 اعجاب .. و مسحتها في فبراير 2023 .. اعتذر من كل المعجبين و لكن بعد كل هذه السنين تغيرت أفكاري و معتقداتي و مبادئي .. معمر القذافي كان إنسان مثقف و واعي و مطلع على الكثير من الامور بغض النظر عما قام به ..

اللهم أصلح حال ليبيا

اولا .. الان سأقول رائي وبصراحه جدا بعيدا عن المجاملات او الكلام اللذي لا فائده منه ..

قرأءت الكتاب اليوم بعد فضول مني .. بسبب الاقتباسات الموجوده بالانترنت والمنسوبه الى كتاب الاخضر للقذافي ..

كان الجميع يقول كلام لااصل له في الصحه .. عن كتاب القذافي انه يتكلم عن الدين .. وهكذا وعند قرائتي للكتاب لم اجد شيئآ .. يتكلم فيه عن القران او الدين ابدا

الشيء الثاني ..
اضحكني جدا فكر الناس اللتي تقرأ من باب الاستهزاء والضحك لا اكثر .. فقبل قرائتي للكتاب شاهدت التعليقات الموجوده ..
والكل يقول انه كتاب مهزله واخر يقول .. انه كتاب للمسرحيات المضحكه .. واخرى تقول ان من بدايه قرائتها للكتاب الى نهايته وهي تضحك على افكاره الشاذه !

الشيء الثالث .. الان عندما يكون بنظري وفكري وادراكه .. تجاهه شخص ابغضه واكرهه فمن الطبيعي جدا اني عندما اقوم بقراءه كتابه ان يكون ادراكي ومنطقي مختلف تماما عن الكاتب بسبب عواطفنا وادراكنا الواعي .. فمن هذا المنطلق انا احكم على كل شخص قرأ الكتاب ويتكلم بكلام ليس له اصلا ولا صحه ومنطلق الضحك والاستهزاء بالكاتب ..

الشيء الرابع .. حقيقه عندما قرأت الكتاب .. رأئيت وشاهدت بأم عيني كيف ان القذافي كان مظلوما اعلاميا .. وكيف ان الاعلام ضحك علينا وعلى بقيه الشعوب عن افكار القذافي ومعتقداته.. حقآ نحن امه يلقنا الاعلام تلقينا مايريد وبدون ادراك منا ولا فهم ولا منطق نصصدق كل كذبه تقال تجاه القذافي..

الشيء الخامس .. عند قرأئتي للكتاب وجدت احد العبرات والتعليقات اللتي كانوا يستهزوء بها السذج .. وهي عباره
" الرجل ذكر والمرأه انثى "
ان هذا الجمله عندا قرأتها لاول مره .. سيضحك البعض والبعض الاخر سيوافق على هذا الكلام ..

لان كل انسان وكل شخص سيتصرف وفقآ لادراكه الوعي لا اكثر ولا اقل ..

فكلمه ذكر باللغه العربيه هي
الذَّكَرُ : خلاف الأُنثى .
و الذَّكَرُ عضو التناسل منه .

ومعنى الانثى باللغه العربيه هي الأُنْثَى : خلاف الذكر من كل شَيءٍ

وبعد ذالك فسر القذافي قوله كالتالي بالكتاب ..
"المرأه انثى لا غير..وانثى تعني انها ذات طبيعه بيولوجيه مختلفه عن الرجل لكونه ذكرآ.. والطبيعه البيولجيه للانثى المختلفه عن الذكر جعلت المرأه صفات غير صفات الرجل في الشكل والجوهر !!"
اي ان المرأه والرجل كلهما انسان , ولكن المرأه تحيض وتمرض كل شهر بسبب الحيض .. وان المرأه تحمل وتلد وترضع ولها واجبات لابد لها من القيام بها كتربيه الطفل وارضاعه عامين كاملين !

حقيقه اعزائي .. بعد فهمكم لهذا المنطق والمنطلق هل كلمه الذكر ررجل والانثى امرأه كلما تستحق الضحك والاستهزاء بها ؟


الشيء السادس.. والله قراءت الكتاب وادركت مدى جهلي .. وكيف ان عقلي بدء يأخذ مستويات كبيره من الوعي والادراك
لقد ذكر في الفصول الثالثه .. عن منطلق السياسه والاقتصاد والحياه الاجتماعيه ..
فبعد قرائتي للكتاب ادركت مدى استواعاب وفهم الرجل للمنطلق

لم ارى اي شيئ يضحك او يدل على رجعيه الكاتب او جهل ..
انصح الجميع عند قراءت الكتاب .. ان لايكون مناحزا لطرف ما .. بل العكس يكون هو العقل والادراك والوعي

يقرأ الكتاب بدون ان يكون منحازا الا بعد قراءته كامل وفهم الكتاب جيدا !

اغلب الاراء المنشورة هي من ناس لم تقرأ الكتاب ... واذا قرأ هيقرأ عشان يبرز التناقض واذا قرأت شي و انت عارف من البداية انه بتقرأ عشان تنتقد فتأكد انك هتلاقي الف تناقض و الف شئ ..

فعلا العرب ما بيقرأوا .. الاسهل اني اقرأ رأي او تعليق واحد بثق فيه يتكلم عن اي شي عشان اصدر حكمي على شي بدون ما اقرا و افكر هاد الي صاير هنا

In 2011, just after the fall of Tripoli but before they found Gadhafi, I was in Libya making news films. I enjoyed the work a lot – there was so much to see and talk about – although obviously it was occasionally quite stressful as there were a lot of snipers in Tripoli and going outside the city was always nerveracking. Well one day, I went to interview the new Minister for Education, who was trying to sort out the ministry after it had been trashed, as most government buildings had.

He didn't want to do the interview in his office, he explained, because it was still full of Gadhafi-era books and pictures. I peered round his shoulder and into the room. There were torn posters all over the floor and books had been yanked from the shelves – hundreds of them.

‘So, uh...what are you going to do with all these books?’ I asked.

He shrugged: ‘Throw them away.’

Well of course I hate seeing books go to waste. Could I, I wondered, take a couple off his hands...?

He grinned and handed me a three-volume set from the top of his new desk. When I got it outside and examined the title, I realised with shock that it was a copy of the Green Book itself.

I didn't read it till I got home, mostly in translation – my Arabic is nowhere near good enough to deal with this lot. While I was in Tripoli I used it mainly as an extra notebook – the back flap of volume three, for instance, is covered in my scribbled impressions of the old town:

The medina: rubbish-strewn wynds, a ground of earth and sand, black bulbs of women walking with plastic bags of shopping, cats playing in litter, a smell of stale water and faeces, cross-streets glimpsed at the far ends of alleyways, light filtered by overhanging matting, a chiaroscuro peek at a tailor bent over an ancient Singer. The Libyan tricolor daubed on a corner, with a finger of green running down the uneven stone. Graffiti is everywhere. GO WAY GADAFI LIBIA FRE. February 17. ليبيا حرة [Free Libya]. THANK YOU NATO. There are Amazigh yaz symbols all over the place. Walking through the suqs, 10-yr-old kid came walking towards me carrying a sawn-off shotgun. He pointed it at a cat lounging in a pile of refuse and grinned.

I was really nervous about getting it out of the country – for obvious reasons, the new regime took a dim view of people waltzing around with the works of their former dictator. I wrapped it up in my old underwear at the bottom of my bag and just sang the new anthem extra-loudly at all the checkpoints, plus a few hearty "Allahu akbar"s, and we got to the border just fine.

So that's how one of the books in my lounge is a copy of the Green Book which used to belong to Gadhafi's education minister.

لماذا قرأت هذا الكتاب ؟!
...
سنسميه تجاوزًا كتاب ،، قراته بعدما قرأت ما كتبه د.محمد البرادعي في كتبه سنوات الخداع عن زيارته إلى ليبيا ولقائه مع القذافي وما كتبه أيضًا الأستاذ هيكل في كتابه ( كلام في السياسة ) عن لقائه مع القذافي في القاهرة والذي وجه القذافي خلاله الدعوة للأستاذ هيكل إلى زيارة ليبيا ليشاهد بنفسه الكتاب الأخضر حيًا وفاعلًا ،، وقد شاهدت أنا بنفسي هذا الكتاب يُمزق وصاحبه يُقتل على أيدي ثوار ليبيا ،، فكان لا بد أن أعرف أكثر عن القذافي من خلال كتابه.

الكتاب - الذي نُشر في عام 1975 م- يسرد فلسفة القذافي وفلسفته في نظام الحكم والاقتصاد والاجتماع ،، وفيه يقتبس القذافي الكثير من نظرية الطريق الثالث للبروفسور البريطاني أنطوني جدنز الذي سعى من خلالها لإصلاح الليبرالية الديموقراطية ،، ورغم أن القذافي قد وضع يده على أغلب مشاكل العرب - بشكل عام - في مجالات السياسة والاقتصاد والاجتماع إلا أن حلوله لهذه جاءت كوميدية للغاية ،، فمثلًا في المجلد الثاني من شروح الكتاب الأخضر يدعو القذافي لحظر مهنة ( الحلاقة ) كحل للمشكل الاقتصادي لأنها مهنة غير منتجة مما دفع الليبيون للحلاقة في السر ،، ذكرني هذا بالحاكم بأمر الله الذي منع شعبه من أكل ( الملوخية ) ،، وكأننا موعودون دائمًا بالحكام المجانين ،، وهل هناك جنون أكثر من أن ينشئ القذافي ( المركز العالمي لأبحاث ودراسات الكتاب الأخضر ) الذي أنفق الملايين من أموال الشعب لطباعة وترجمة هذا الهراء الأخضر وشروحه وما كُتب عنه.


الرجل ذكر والمرأة أنثى
...
الجملة الأشهر للقذافي ،، والتي أثارت السخرية طوال فترة الثورة الليبية ،، الحق وحتى لا نظلم الرجل - يكفيه ظلمه لنفسه - أن هذه العبارة موجودة بالفعل في الكتاب ،، ولكنها في سياقها مقبولة تمامًا وتشبه قولنا ( الجدع جدع والجبان جبان ).

مع إنّي ليبي, فأنـا لم أقرأ هذا الكتاب إلا بعد ثورة 17 فبراير, كنت دائمـاً أستغرب من مقولاته المقتبسة من الكتاب المنتشرة في أرجاء بلادنا, على اسوار المدارس والمباني الحكومية وأيظاً في الكتب الدراسية...

يعني حقـاً معمّر هذا شخص جاهل بمعنى الكلمة, يتفلسف بغباء حاد, وفقاً لتقارير الويكيليكس هو لا يقرأ بنفسه ولكن يعين شخص ما ليلخص له أهم الكتب التى تُنشر كل عام ومن ثمّ يقرأ عليه الملخص الذي لا يتجاوز الـ 8 صفحات, يعني حقاً فضيحة فأنا لا أستغرب من كتابته لشيء كهذا

بالنسبة لمحتوى الكتاب فهو سطحي لأبعد الحدود والظاهر انه فاهم الفلسفة بالمعكوس كأن يقول : ( الفرق بين الرجل والمرأة هو أنّ الرجل ذكر والمرأة انثى) لا ياراجل؟؟ معقولة؟ .... يعني تفاهـة بمعنى الكلمة, أفكـاره فوضوية ولايقبلهـا أي عقل سليم, كـ فكرة (الأ��ض ليست ملكـاً لأحد) والتي طبقهـا في حقبة ما في بلادنـا, وأغتصب أتباعه من اللجان الثورية والثوريين اراضي واملاك الليبين الشرفاء وتقاسموهـا وكل من لديه بيت أو شقة زائدة عن اللزوم كما يدعي أي ملك غير مسكون يتم أخذه منك بالقوة وإعطاه شخص آخر أو عندمـا منح المستأجرين الاملاك التي استأجروهـا من مالكيهـا الحقيقيين عندمـا طبّق نظرية (البيت لساكنه) يعني حاجة قرف

الحمدلله تخلصنـا منه, وعاشت ليبيـا حرة

Wow really good read actually(to my surprise)!

He basically is talking about really sensible ideas in this, he basically lays out his plan for direct participatory democracy, mixed with anarcho-syndicalism and socialism. He critiques Capitalism and Communism and says that they both fall into the same pitfalls and shows how his solutions don't. He puts forth his ideas in a really easy to read way, but I suspect that some stuff was lost on my translation. My translation had a few instances of him repeating himself in the same way over and over, I get the feeling that in the original language he was him clarifying his ideas, but in the lazy translation they just made it seem as though he was repeating himself.

Near the end when he was talking about family, women, and black culture he doesn't say much very interesting. But in his final essay critiquing sports and theatre he goes all quasi-Debord?

Overall a neat little book, I was expecting it to be a pile of quotes or something like Mao's book, much better than that.

قرأت أجزاء السنة اللي فاتت وتصفحته بسرعة اليوم، الله يرحمك يا قذافي.. فقدنا بموتك عمودًا من أعمدة الكوميديا في الوطن العربي، كتاب ممتاز للقراءة على خلفية موسيقية مثل أغنية "أنا شارب سيجارة بني".

الكتاب أنيق ويشعرك بفخامة المحتوى، تنسيق الصفحات جميل، يحتوي على "علامة صفحات" وهذا جيد لأنه حل لدي مشكلة "علامة الصفحات" خاصتي التي تستمر بالسقوط.

النظرية العالمية الثالثة ليست رأسمالية ولا اشتراكية بل جماهيرية (من الجماهير) فلا احد يحكم وينوب عن الشعب، هو يحاول ان يطبق الديمقراطية في اصولها الاولى عندما ظهرت في اليونان على شكل اجتماع لكافة الشعب الذي كان يقدر بالمئات وحسب تناقش شؤونها، ومشكل الزمان ان المئات اصبحت ملايين فهو يحاول ان يحل مشكلة تجمع هذه المللايين في مكان واحد باللجان الشعبية، القذافي لا يعترف بأي مظهر من مظاهر الديمقراطية الحقيقية بدعوى أنها (ديمقراطية زائفة).

اعتقد ان القذافي التف وحسب على المجالس النيابية والانتخابات والاستفتاءات فالمجالس العامة هي تمثيل في النهاية عن المجالس الشعبية بأشكالها الدنيا.

مشكلة الكتاب ان يفصل ويكرر الفكرة أكثر من مرة للتاكيد فيشعرك انه يخاطب قارئ احمق مما يدخل الملل قليلاً ...
ايقول الناشر عن الكتاب :"إن فكر معمر القذافي يفسر الحياة وينبثق من قلبهل من قلوب المعذبين والمقهورين والحزانى والمحرومين"، الكتاب حقيقة هي فكرة خطرت على بال الرجل واحب ان يشارك العالم فيها ولا ادرى مدى تطبيقها ونجاحها على ارض ليبيا، الكتاب لغته رصينة ولا تحتوى على التناقضات التي انتشرت عبر الانترنت وادعى مرسلوها انها نقلاً من هذا الكتاب، وصلتني معلومة تقول ان القذافي قد سرق الكتاب ولم يؤلفه ... لا يهم المهم اني قراته فأنت لا تقرأ كاتباً بل كتاباً في النهاية

أحتاج لقراءته مرة اخرى فالكتاب جدير بالتدوين حقيقة، ولكن ذلك بعد أن أقرأ شروحه بإذن الله

Many people ridicule The Green Book without actually reading. This is primarily because they view Alqaddafi as an absolute dictator who did not practise what he preached. Nevertheless, the book has some interesting ideas and theories, even if not practical, that are worth thinking about. You may dispute the author and not agree with most of the content, but it is a good read!

لا يستحق أن يُقيم بنقطة واحدة حتى .

الأسلوب ركيك جداً ومضحك ويُفسر الماء بالماء. كأن يقول الرجل هو ذكر والمرأة هي أنثى والاثنان انسان اذاً يتشاركان بالانسانية ولكن يختلفان في أن الرجل ذكر والمرأة أنثى :S

بعض المقاطع مضحكة جداً. كأن يقول أن المرأة عليها أن تتحول إلى رجل إن مارست اعمال الرجال هههههههه
الغريب أن بعض الأمور في الكتاب حتى هو نفسه لا يعمل بها .

أظن أن إطلاق لفظة "كتاب" على هذا الملف مجحفة بحق الكتب .. لكن و من مبدأ أنني دوماً أحب أن أنظر إلى الجانب المشرق للموضوع ، فالجانب المشرق في قراءتي لهذا الكتاب إني طول الوقت كنت عم بقول : الحمدلله الذي عافانا مما ابتلى به غيرنا من الناس ..

والله العقل زينة يا جماعة ^_^

بعض نقاط الكتاب كانت مضحكة للغاية
ولكن البعض الاخر فعلا يثير الرثاء ان يكون رئيس دولة عربية يفكر بهذا المنطلق
ان يقول ان الديمقراطية هراء وان الاحزاب هراء
وان الحل الوحيد هو المؤتمرات الشعبية
ماهذة الغوغائية التى يفكر بها هذا الرجل
ماهذا الكتاب الذى يشرح بعض الاشياء البديهية
على قدر مااضحكنى هذا الكتاب
على قدر ماثار فى نفسى الحزن على ان يحكم هذا الانسان دولة عربية لمدة 42 سنة

فسر الماء بالماء كتاب فيه معاداة صريحة للأسلام وتناقضات كثيرة وحل للمشكلة الأقتصادية بقواعد غبية ومنها (الذي ينتج هو الذي يستهلك) و(شركاء لا أجراء) و(البيت لساكنه

ينتقد الديموقراطيّة، ويطرح نظام المؤتمرات الشعبيّة
ثمّ ينتقد الرأسماليّة، ويطرح نظام الاشتراكيّة المطوّرة
ثمّ ينتقد المجتمع، ويطرح بعض التصوّرات الركيكة
حتّى الاقتباس الذي ضحكنا عليها: الرجل ذكر والمرأة أنثى
كانت ضمن سياق معقول عن اختلاف الأدوار الاجتماعيّة
والأهم أنه طبّق نظريّاته الغريبة الكبرى أثناء حكمه لليبيا

بعيدًا عن حماقات المؤلّف، فالكتاب جيّد إلى حدّ كبير

Got so many mixed feelings for this book. The first two parts were really interesting overall and Gaddafi had some really nice takes on direct democracy that were one of a kind at his time. Something completely different both from Marxist Leninist socialist perspective and western capitalist perspective. The third part really ruined it for me as it is full of conservativism, racial and biological essentialism and horrible takes on sports.

The first two parts argue for completely free and direct democracy by everyone, he argues that party politics is as outdated and irrational as racial and religious politics. Since parties always represent a minority of the people and oppress other major groups of the people. The more parties that exist the worse the interests of the people are represented and achieved. The party in opposition always tries to downplay and vilify the ruling party even if some of its policies are good for society. Instead he argues for a complete rule of people's congresses and committees, each managed independently by each section of society.
The economic part he argues should be managed by people's committees as well, similar to worker co - ops, arguing against the concept of a wage but instead getting materially only what needed as long as everyone can survive. And if someone wants to earn something more for themselves they should do it through public/societal labour.
Its interesting how close the first 2 parts are to anarcho syndicalism and anarcho communism specifically but people view him as an "evil absolute tyranical dictator" in the West.

On the contrary he argues against Marxist Leninist and classical socialist concepts like "working class Party" and denies history being the history of class struggle. Instead Gaddafi says its the history of nations and nationalities, which goes against Marxism.

The third part was straight up horrible. Its ultra nationalist, conservative and essentialist. His argumentation usually comes down to "traditional family and racial values which are superior and come through natural law".
The part on women was straight up disgusting as Gaddafi argues that the natural role of all women is to give child birth and to go against that would be an act against nature. He also goes as far as to argue that most evil in the world is caused due to the confused roles of men and women and the attempt to turn women into men "destroying their fragility and beauty". It goes against both Marxism and Juche.
His take on how "blacks will dominate the world as the whites did" and comparing mongolian conquests with western european colonialism is also extremely ahistorical and bad.
His take on sports is also terrible as he argues how there should be any stadium seats because that keeps the masses away from engaging in sports despite that in fact its the exact opposite.

Overall it was an interesting read to see not only what Gaddafi had in his mind but how interestingly they were put into practice and worked out in Libya, which they did work out and the reason of Libya's downfall wasn't at core because of a fault in what he calls "third international theory" but because of mistakes such as dismantling their nuclear program thus leaving the country defenceless against American invasion.

Colonel Qaddafi's book can be both a tedious and interesting read at the same time. It describes his ideas of democracy called The Third Universal Theory which is a mixture of socialism and principles from the Quran. This book was the handbook for the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, the former Libyan government which lasted from 1969-2011. Qaddafi felt a true democracy was not run by elected officials who often ruled in their own interest, but a real democratic system was run by people's committees where every citizen had a voice. The book also talked about the fair treatment of women and blacks. Overall the book seemed idealistic at times, but in the end it was a read which contained some very thought provoking points. It must be read with an open mind to be really understood, however.

"معمّر القذّافي" ملك ملوك أفريقيا ، يعني "زنجة زنجة" يعني صاحب "الكتاب الأخضر" اللي هيكون سبب في تفجير الثورات و تحرير الشعوب المستعبدة_ على حد كلام الكاتب_ ، وصاحب "النظريّة العالميّة الثالثة".
لو داخل تقرأ الكتاب و ناوي تقيّمه على إنّه دستور "الجماهيريّة الليبيّة" هتلاقيه دون المستوى،
و لو داخل تقرأه بناءً على وجهة نظر الآخرين المسبقة و التريقة اللامتناهية على القذّافي على غرار" الرجل ذكر و المرأة أنثى" فاحتمال تحسّ زيّي إنّ النّاس بالغت في ازدرائها لمضمون الكتاب.

الطبعة الأولى نشرت ب"ليبيا" عام 1975، و الطبعة الأولي ب"مصر" نشرت عام 1990 و الأخيرة دي اللي قرأتها و رجاءً تتجاهلوا كلمة الناشر على الغلاف من الخلف و التي يتحدث فيها عن روعة الكتاب الخارج من رأس المفكّر الخارق للطبيعة"معمّر القذّافي".

فكرة الكتاب تدور حول إن الديمقراطيّة شيء قذر، و الاستفتاء تدجيل على الديمقراطية" اللي هي أصلًا قذرة!" ، و إن مفيش حاجة اسمها نوّاب عن الشعب لإن لابد للشعب أن يحكم نفسه بنفسه ، و لا تصح الإنابة عنه بأي شكل من الأشكال ، و لو اتعمل استفتاء المفروض كل واحد من الشعب يشرح سبب اختياره سواء كان ب"نعم"أوب"لا"، و إن "الحزبيّة" شيء مروّع،
الجزء الخاص بالمرأة عجبني جدًا _ على الأقل شاركني فيه رأيي عن إنّ المرأة العاملة تشقى جدًا في الموازنة بين بيتها و عملها_.

في النهاية الكتاب ليس هزليًا كما يُشاع ، و به بعض النقاط الجيّدة.

على هامش الكتاب و الجزء الخاص ب"التعليم" فيه: كان عندنا دكتور في الكليّة اشتغل فترة في"ليبيا" ، كان بيشتكي من غباء الطلبة اللي كان بيدرّسلهم هناك ، و ده كان سببه إنّ الواحد بيدخل الكليّة اللي نفسه فيها ، فأغلب الأهالي كان بتدخّل أولادها"الطب البشري" ، فطبيعي إن كثير منهم لا يبدون أي استجابة لدراسة الطب!

Well, this one was, uhh... Interesting. I wanted to know a bit more about Gaddafi, and I thought what better way, than right out of the horse's mouth?
"The Green Book" is Muammar Gaddafi's political philosophy. It is wide-ranging; the book covers the ideal forms of government, economic organization, the family, and the culture of a society.
The book was first published in 1975. It was "intended to be read by all people". It is said to have been inspired in part by The Little Red Book (Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-tung).

The book borrows a lot from Marxist socialism/communism, and Gaddafi seems to think that a socialist economy will be the ideal form of economic system.
The book features many other interesting viewpoints, culminating with a blurb at the end attacking organized sports watched by a public audience:
"It is unreasonable for crowds to enter places of worship just to view a person or a group of people praying without taking part. It is equally unreasonable for crowds to enter playgrounds and arenas to watch a player of a team without participating themselves."
He writes with clarity on human nature in some places, and other places, not so much...
He also doesn't seem to like theatre or the movies:
"Those who direct the course of life for themselves have no need to watch life working through actors on the stage or in the cinema."
The book does contain an interesting text about women; and how he considers them equal to men - a view that is not held by many of his MENA Islamic contemporaries.
Thankfully, this was not much longer, or I might have put it down. At ~110 pages, it was a quick read, at least.

Wont rate it because i skim read this book as I was only interested in what Muammar Gaddafi had written about women that the entire west was hurling abuses at him for.

I was surprised to see he wrote the exact same words I have been shouting out loud my whole life starting from the basics :
"It follows that neither of them (man and woman) is exactly like the other, and the fact that a natural difference exists between men and women is proved by the created existence of men and women"
And ending right at this:
"There is no difference in human rights between man and woman, the child and the adult, but there is no absolute identity between them as regards their duties"
Swear to God these two things I have been arguing about my whole life and I was so shook to see the EXACT same words used.
In this book he has never talked about women as being "less" than men, rather he has made them much higher because a woman does all that a man cannot do eg give birth to a child.
I am not doing a detailed review because i skim read the book and am only talking about the woman section in particular .
But I'm glad I read the book because on the internet it's all about how the author doesn't respect women or votes to subjugate women. I think any sane human being who reads the book would thoroughly disagree.
Such propagandists these people I tell you!

Funny enough, Gaddafi’s argument is similar to Jason Brennan in “Against Democracy,” but it begs the question of now what?

He goes on to say public education, women doing physical labor, parliamentary systems, building wealth, and the modern conception of democracy are “tyrannical.” Is he hypocritical? Yes. Delusional? Yes. But I’m not sure if the “Green Book” was written to ONLY to manipulate or if he truly believed he was right… maybe in the end he fell subject to his own lies.

لحظت ان اغلب التعليقات تتذل على سذاجة العرب وغبائهم وخاصة اعراب الخليج الذين لا نرى منهم لا كتاب ولا فلاسفة ولا اي شي وفي نفس الوقت نراهم يقيمون ويضحكون على الناس فقط لانهم مقتنعين بان الغرب افضل من العرب وهذا نتيجة حكامهم وملوكهم الاغبياء قبل كل شي

اكاد اجزم ان من قروا الكتاب وانتقدوه لم يقروه بحيادية لهذا كان اغلب طرحهم للموضوع سلبي ووصف الكتاب بالمضحك والمسلي والهزلي لا اريد ان اناقش عيوبهم الفكرية فقط ساقول ان كل شي بدايته فكرة واغلب الافكار كانت محظ ضحك واستهزاء في بدايتها ولكن بعد ذلك تتحول لافكار عظيمة يستفيد منها الناس ولو في اجيال اخرى

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم... فيما بعد الصراحة لطالما احببت ان اقرأ لهذا الرجل الذي هابه العالم الغربي و الذي احبته افريقا... لكن يا لغدر الزمان ويا لطمع الانسان ما كان لهم الا ان يغدروا به...

لعل القذافي من احد اعظم السلاطين و الرؤساء على وجه البشرية الذين عرفوا بلباقتهم و رؤيتهم الفذا... ورغم ان الكتاب ليس به بالكثير الغير مريب الا انه يفتح بصيرة القارئ بأفكار هذا الانسان... الكتاب بسيط و جميل و يحوى طرق شتى في نمط الحياة في الدولة والمعاملات بين الناس... انصح بقرائته

لا أدري لما أقرأ عن السياسة ممن يترجم الديمقراطية بأن ديمو على الكراسي !
يحاول إقناع القارئ بإن الإشتراكية هي الحل رغم فشلها العارم في أغلب الدول التي تقيدت بها, أما إجتماعاً فيأمرنا بالقوميه !
يريدنا في كل السطور إلى الإهتداء بكتابه الأخضر ويقول بأنه الحل لجميع المشاكل! "نرسجية"

The first chapter makes you know hat does Al Gadhafi mean by saying that he is not a president & that his people are the true ones who rule the country
Second chapter is all about economy which i had no interest in reading thoroughly!

All in all, the book is all none-sense, i only found the last page to be so true that i doubt Al Gadhafi wrote it himself!
So, you can fast-forward to the last page
