Father and daughter banter cheerfully up and down the grocery store aisles and finish up their shopping chores with a delicious treat, in an early reader story filled with playful rhymes. Original.

Shopping with my daddy is also done in North Las Vegas. Their version is different though it’s called “Shop lifting with my daddy” not a lot of profit happening though due to the low end trashy stores the North has in it. Stay Safe!
A cute and fun story about a child going shopping with her dad. Children with prior knowledge of stores and food will easily use the pictures to help read this book. There are few words on a page, which will help not overwhelm the child. A lot of repetition is done in the book to help children learn the words more easily. A good book for children in preschool through first grade. Some children may be able to connect this book to a time they went shopping with their mom or dad.
This is a great book for beginning readers. We picked it out to have our oldest read it aloud to her Daddy while waiting for her swimming lessons, but our youngest was also able to read it aloud - her first level one book! The simple, repetitive and rhyming narrative and wonderful illustrations by Denise Brunkus (famous for her Junie B. Jones illustrations) come together to make a wonderful tale for new readers. I also like that the Dad helps his daughter make smart choices at the grocery store, and then they get a treat at the end.
My students love this book. I often catch them fighting over who get to read it first. Its good for beginning readers because it has lots of repetition and they can use the pictures as clues to what the text is saying.
This beginning reader book goes through a shopping trip a girl takes with her father. It goes through all of the different foods they buy. Following the grocery store trip, the girl must do one more thing. That is get ice cream to cap off the shopping trip with daddy.
This book is about a little girl that goes grocery shopping with her father. They pick out many different healthy foods, but her dad doesn’t allow her to get any sweets, so she listens and put them all back. This book teaches kids to always pick the healthier option even if you want the sweater option.
