For as long as he can remember, Kofi O. Okyere has loved telling stories. While he traveled many paths through the corporate world, his overactive imagination remained strong and eventually pulled him back to his passion: storytelling. He created 2911 Productions, LLC as a means of sharing his stories, and eventually those of others, with the world.
I think it is amazing. It is such a good book. You shold read it.It is about a boy everyone calls him coconut. His dad is sick and coconut is sad that he cant do anything to help.He goes to his favorite place and his friend Esi tries to make him feel better. She tells him the last time my cousin Kofi came to town he told her to visit him in Accra so they did.On the way there the bus got a flat tire, everyone got off the bus.Coconut started to walk back and so did Esi,on the way back they heard a screech and ran into a forest to find what it was.It was a monkey.Coconut has always loved Roloway Guenon ,its a type of a monkey.Anyway he went in the forest to look for the monkey, he found it.It was the monkey a rich person was looking for.He returned it and you'll have to read the book to find out what happened in the end and what happened to coconuts dad.=]
What a great adventure! I empathized with Coconut as he tried to deal with his father's illness. When he stumbles upon a way to save him, Coconut is torn. Saving his father means going against everything his parents have ever taught him. It's a strong conflict that will keep readers engaged. At the same time, you'll learn a bit about Ghana (where the book is set). It's a good, quick read (I am a little partial though ;-)).
I loved this book! It was an easy and fun read. The younger kids in the family loved Coconut!! They are waiting for his next adventure. I recommend this book to everyone all ages!!
