The Kaplan Chronicles: Volume 4
After almost a year of absence, Cameron is finally freed from the labyrinth his faceless enemy trapped him in, thirstier of revenge than ever. However, the freedom came at a very high cost, as he is now under the domination of his rescuer, Morris Rockford, who has his own agenda against the Kaplans.
Old Niall is dying, but won’t go down without a fight. Before leaving this world, he is determined to do everything he can to keep the power and most of the wealth in his branch of the family. Everything—even if this means he would team up with Cameron again.

Neill in book 1: the children won't pay for the sins of their elders
Neill in book 4: I'll cause as much suffering as I can before death takes me from this plane.
It was, again, more of the same unbelievable drama and constant confusion. We got introduced to even more characters, heaven knows why as the story can't even keep up with the ones there already. Cameron in back, Neill had the choice and chose to cause pain and suffering. We finally get some focus on Angus (superficial, as the plot is already stretched thin).
We'd need a full book just to tie all the loose ends and half baked relationships, but alas I doubt that if an extra book came it would be used for that purpose. But, at the end, we got no closure. Which irks me beyond words.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!
Holy Cow!!! H.M. WOLFE Does It Again!! Just when you think nothing else can surprise you, H.M. Wolfe will. This Book includes all the Kaplan Clan. All the secrets and all new details uncovered. If you follow this Series, this is another hum dinger. Naill at some point will get his comeuppance. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will all pull together. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS KAPLAN CHRONICLES SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this book. Cameron is free after a year but that came with s price he is now a slave to Morris Rockford. Cameron wants to get back at all those who hurt him. Secrets and lies are revealed. Will the Kaplans survive the evil plans Cameron and others have set for them?

I Loved this book, like all the others in this series are wonderful, ,this author really knows how to keep all these characters in order,,, well there is one character that comes back and thats Cameron he is still the same evil mind but his master holds the reins until a known fact about his family runs it course through him and now he has to figure how to get away or be something he never wanted,,, and we can not forget Niall he says he is dying but his past is coming out and all the family is finding out his dirty secrets,,, and then there is Angus (Who is still morning his husband) and the attempt on his life he is saved by his farmhand/mafia guy and they become close that they have a surprise on the way also,,,, there is so much packed in this book i will have to reread it,,,,,, I read this book for this author for my honest opinion

Soooo good. I love this author’s book and I can say that I have almost all of them. This is the continuing story of the Kaplans and must be read in order as it is a continuing arc. Love the way the characters are portrayed in depth with their personalities shining through. I highly recommend this series; you will not be disappointed.

I say this every time, but I think this might be the best entry in the series, lol. The focus here is on power, especially power over others and how the desire to have and hold on to that can twist and warp people over the long haul. It is also the story of those who learn to confront that power and stand up for what is right, proving that love is stronger than hate.

With an ex elder set in his way that continue to lead from the shadows we discover more of the horrible things that had happened in the name of his principles when greed and bloodthirst had a special place.
Among all the suffering and past trauma our beloved characters try to be happy with their loved ones and are ecstatic as lost souls are reunited with the family and conjured with the love and caring they deserve.
Enemies try to disrupt their life and happiness by plotting ways to gain the upper hand and get revenge but are thwarted in their ways.
Connections and alliances are formed as well as heart-warming reunions.
Secrets and discoveries take an unexpected turn of events as justice is approaching and the desperate ones try to come with solutions of their predicament.
It's an adventure with several twist and turns and reveals that will make your heart soar and keep you guessing at the outcome.
I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

Great story and a great series. I’ve enjoyed this series very much, it tells the story of an elder in the family and how he almost destroyed the entire clan through prejudice and hatefulness. Each one has a HEA ending .
