Autobiographic essays that illuminate the wide range of Latina experience. A very good read. I like this book in the same way I like Bare Your Soul, although its not so uplifting.

I think what I loved most about these stories was reading stories about experiences, feelings, and even some of of the words used that I thought I was only one who had experienced, felt, and used.
