Or will the past consume them both? Y is the second book in the X, Y, Z trilogy.
Mandy Lee was born and raised in Leicester, in the UK, where she still lives with her extended family. Until December 2017, she was a secondary school teacher, but finally gave up the day job to devote all her time to writing.
Mandy has been writing for most of her life, trying out different genres. It wasn’t until she discovered erotic romance (a genre she loves reading) that she finally found her home. She has released the following books:
You Don’t Know Me True Colours Shut Your Eyes X Y Z
I am loving this authors way of writing her stories. Will definitely be moving to the final book of this trilogy.
Finding yourself after all that you have been through is hard for anyone to do but it can be done. Sometimes its an animal or a person that helps you along the way. Sebastian, is in the middle of finding himself when she is dropped into his life. The one thing that will make him feel like he is alive again. Evie, had trouble following her in life. Always made to feel like everyones troubles were her fault. That is until she meets this mystery man. Then she stars to find herself again.
Very different from the first book, meaning you don’t need to read in order. But I love how the story interlinks perfectly and you can piece the storyline together. It’s great how the characters grow throughout the book and I get proper feels for Seb and Evie. Beautiful.
The two main characters are well written, but I would have wished to see more of Sabatain's thoughts about Evie. This was a pretty one-sided view. Though the story was excellent. Loved the epilogue chapter. I highly recommend 👌.
