It’s impossible not to fall in love with this rambunctious little Rascal. I wanted so badly to reach into the pages and give this dog a scratch.

As Ellie plans her birthday sleepover, she and her best friend make friends with Lucy the new girl who loves ballet, however as jealousy and not being a fan of dogs on Lucy's part occur, Ellie has a lot to deal with especially when things on her birthday go awry too...

Rascal can win anyone's heart round as he proves despite being up against a lot he proves to Ellie that for all the trouble he brings he changes lives for the better and helps her new friend too. A fun little book about birthdays, new friends and pets.

It's a great book for children and I wish I had read it when I was 9/10 (I think that's when I got this book)
Cute and good :)
