Idenya lumayan tapi kurang di eksekusinya. Teksnya terlalu panjang, bisa diringkas dan dibuat jauh lebih menarik. Ilustrasinya bisa dibuat lebih menarik lagi.
The Flying Train is an adventurous picture book that contains a short story full of imagination and beautiful, colorful pictures. The story begins with Teddy, Nelly, bear, dolly, and their dog. One magical night, they hop on a flying train to outer space. During that time, they come across the sun, the moon, planets, little gray people, and lovely fairies, but was it just a dream? This book won a State Literacy Award in 2004. This book can serve as a Read Aloud to cover literary elements and fun facts about the solar system to children in the primary grades
I was not impressed with this book, which features a Peter Pan-like appearance by a flying train at the bedroom window and children straight out of the Precious Moments catalog. Though it originated in Sri Lanka, it seems awfully generic in its language and illustrations, and all are poorly laid out. The children do get a chance to explore space and learn a little about weather. Overall, I'd say take a pass on this book.
Great sneak-reading -in -book only sixteen pages, the children go on a trip while sleeping, can be used for science they went to mars and other great places.
