I read this book more for information than to actually do the detox. On information this book is worth more than 3 stars. It's chocked full of useful information on how to keep our bodies healthy and able to detox from harmful toxins that are found in our food and home. As for the detox plan it's pretty extreme. I have nothing against extreme plans, but they need to be organized and well formatted so that the read understand fully what they need to do. Cook's book was so scattered that it drove me nuts. If you actually attempt the detox, you will need a pad of paper as you read this book to mark what you need to do or not do for each week. A little organizing would do it wonders, but if you are looking for information on natural health , than don't pass this book by.
