Long ass read and I really really wish I had known it was a WIP. It has not been updated in quite awhile, but I heard the author has been going through some tough times. I really hope she comes back to the story when she is able to. It is one of the best mpreg stories I have ever read. The fantasy world this author has created is so intense and vivid. It was easy to feel like you were actually a part of the story. I love the Characters! Everything was described with such detail. This author has a wonderful imagination and I would hate to see this story left unfinished. This is a very explicit story, but did not read like porn. I feel there should be a warning because there is much violence and some really hard to read/stomach scenes. If you love m/m fantasy and can handle reading a WIP, I highly recommend this story. It deserves all the attention it can get. One of the best I've ever read on Fictionpress!!!
I found the explanation about the mprg was quite interesting and believable. The story is not bad if it only focused on Devin & Jayden's story, I might give 4 stars for it alone.
As it was, there were 4 POVs, and I just don't like nor care about the other couple very much. Most of the time they acted like hormonal teenage girls which was quite annoying. I read and like yaoi, and don't mind "chicks with a dick" but the characters in this one were just too irritating for my taste.
Meh..it's alright. Better than most freebies but still lacking romance. Most of the story is driven by the fantasy plot rather than the romance. Actually the only romance present were sex really....the emotional part is lacking and oh yes.....the main characters sound like little 16 year old girls....too whiny....way...too whiny and emotional...
The story itself is unfinished, and given the date on the last update, unlikely to be so. Truly, I think the best ending was to rescue him, and leave the rest for a sequel. I think the story suffered from a lack of knowledge of how some things work, and an uncertainty of how to finish the story.
It's worth a read, though be wary that it just stops abruptly. If she ever publishes more, I will definitely pick it up again.
Really ejoyed this this book and the relationship between the characters. Being that it was a long read made it that more enjoyable. It allow's you to get to know the characters that much more.
