Cirque A novel, by Scott Grossi Escaping from the tedium of his family home with his best friend, Herm, Giuseppe follows the colorful posters to find a touring French circus, le cirque s'imaginer, or the "imagination circus," as he translates it for Herm. In a couple of days, the friends will find that for one of them the escape was a momentary adventure, and for the other it was the beginning of a new life. Giuseppe, known as Gus, stays behind, during the more quiet times realizing that he is surprisingly homesick, but sensing that he is following something greater than himself, a destiny that will shape his life for the rest of his years. Author Bio, S. A. Grossi was born in Sacramento of Italian descent and raised up on the California coast where he grew up learning bits of wisdom from his father, grandfather and uncle. He has been a student of philosophy since his early teens and a storyteller since he was able to talk. With a degree in practical theology he wanted to impart some of the wisdom of generations past, through a fictionional fable with real life stories intertwined into it. This is the style of writing he has created to help people learn from life through an entertaining medium. Scott now lives in Texas with his wife of 27 years and his two children.
