"Duplicity" is the story of Ellen and Dirk.
Dr. Ellen Stanford is an independent,dedicated and smart woman, who lives with her Gorilla Gigi and friend Jane, training the former to understand human emotions but still cannot escape her family's demands for marriage and kids.
She asks her best friend to send a boy toy who can be her pretend fiance, but instead lands with Dirk, an undercover agent, who walks into Dr Ellen's room due to pure curiosity- but is so enchanted by her her and her gorilla, cannot walk out!
Soon he worms his way into her life, coercing her to accept him as her fake beau- but as attraction blooms between the two- can they get over their inhibitions and confess their love?
A sweet couple totally into each other, some nosy relatives, a hilariously adorable gorilla, some mild confusion of feelings and an OTT heartwarming HEA- this was an engaging read. Really enjoyed it!
