This a 3 stories in one book. No. 1 "Adam" by Jennifer Blake. Adam is driving down a long driveway when all of a sudden a woman appeared out of no where. Will romance follow? No. 2 "A Night in Paradise" by Heather Graham. Michael and Mary are going to get married, and they would like their grandchildren's blessing. Michael's grandson Max and Mary's Aurora. But when Max and Aurora meet they both get the wrong idea about the marriage. Will the wedding come off as planned? No. 3 "Garden Cop" by Diana Palmer. Curtiss is on vacation and is staying with his mother, when he notices what he assumes are marijuana plants at the woman's across the street. He proceeds to go over and start pulling them out. Mary storms out and yells at him to quit pulling up her prize tomato plants. Can love come out of this kind of beginning?

Three stories set in the south and filled with deep southern charm and romance that the three authors are know for. A decent read!

This was a very good set of stories put together by these authors. They all are from the south and add a touch of intrigue to these stories.

Adam by Jennifer Blake ⭐️⭐️
A Night in Paradise by Heather Graham ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Garden Cop by Diana Palmer ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This collection of romance stories are set in the south and feature enemies-to-lovers themes. My favorite was A Night in Paradise. The plot was more wholesome, heartwarming, and more developed than the other two. Adam thoroughly annoyed me, and I couldn't wait to get through it. Garden Cop had good and bad points. The last chapter of that one felt thoroughly unnecessary. If you already own this book, I would just read the Heather Graham one.

This book is an anthology of stories by three wonderful romance authors.

Adam by Jennifer Blake

In this book, we find Adam Benedict on the hunt for Kim Belzoni, a woman who just murdered her abusive husband in self defense. He intends to take her to the sheriff, his cousin Roan. But it's awfully hard for Adam to find Kim when her niece, Lara Kincaid keeps getting in the way. Lara has a mystical and ghostly sense to her the first time they meet, and Adam is all the more intrigued the more he finds out about her. With Kim always one step ahead of him, Lara has more time to convince Adam about how abused Kim had been in the marriage. And along the way, both Lara and Adam discover more about each other than either was prepared for.

A wonderful and fun read.

A Night in Paradise by Heather Graham

Mike and Mary are an elderly couple in a rehabilitation facility in the small town of Paradise. They are blessed with a strong love for each other and each one reaches out their grandchild to come to their wedding. Aurora, Mary's granddaughter, is a playwright and owner of the Paradise Theater, a small place where the local talent can make her words shine. Helpful in visiting her grandmother on a regular basis, Aurora also tends to make a good impression on Mike. This leads to Max Wulfson, Mike's grandson, getting the wrong impression over a phone call, and leaves immediately to break up Mike's nuptials to the wrong woman. When he figures out he was mistaken, he plays a little game with Aurora, who is not correcting Max's mistake just yet. Oh, and did Max forget to mention he was a famous New York playwright?

Some funny moments finally sway to this sweet romance with a great ending.

Garden Cop by Diana Palmer

Curtis Russell is enjoying his vacation visiting his mother, Matilda. As an FBI agent, he finds it hard to rest when he notices the neighbour, Mary Ryan, growing some illegal plants in her front yard garden. The gall of the woman! Some fantastically funny writing had me laughing out loud at the predicaments Mary and Curt keep getting into together. From physical tussles in the muddy garden over tomato plants to Mary and Curt running wildly through the dark community in their pajamas looking for a dog that doesn't even belong to them. As the two work together, they realize their is an escaped government witness with a gun on the loose in Matilda's back shed. They do some quick detective thinking, winding up in shots fired, an ambulance ride, and an ending that I wasn't expecting.

I laughed out loud and enjoyed this story the best in this anthology.

I am very happy I own this anthology as it will be read again. I recommend it highly to those who enjoy light clean romances.

Not worth the read. Blake’s story featured an unlikeable character that the two main characters are trying to save. I kept hoping she'd be shot because she was so selfish and annoying. The supernatural abilities that the main female character has was interesting but then got extreeeeeemely weird towards the end.
The second story was a bit boring so I didn't finish it.
I skimmed through the last that one that featured the usual juvenile and improbable banter and shoehorned conversations that Palmer is known for.

3 stories in 1

If I had to pick the best story out of the three I would have to choose A NIGHT IN PARADISE by Heather Graham. Unfortunately, the other two stories just weren't that great.

In the 1st story, ADAM by Jennifer Blake, I found the main characters to be extremely annoying, especially the aunt.

I had a hard time getting into the 3rd story, Garden Cop by Diana Palmer. I just didn't seem to connect with the characters and there were certain parts of the storyline that I just didn't care for.

Heather Graham's story was the best of the trio, and the only thing that kept this book from being thrown against the wall. Didn't like Jennifer Blake's story much and Diana Palmer's story was too corny. Yuck. Just read the middle story and skip the two on either end.

Anthology but not exactly my favorite. Because each story could use some more details and I was expecting a good 'groveling' especially from Diana Palmer's. Three stories in one book, all of them are quite lacking in details and make me crave some more.

But overall good stories. ;)

I picked this up to complete a Jennifer Blake series, but I liked the Heather Graham novella best. This was my first introduction to Heather Graham. It won't be my last.
