In a barren world where a looming shadow stretches its prevailing grasp, Little Red is a starving humanity's last hope. Yet, will her contempt for the dark forces of this world be the very catalyst to its demise? Follow our young warrior as she traverses a landscape of fabled enemies and new-found friends en route to discovering her own redemption at any cost.
In an apocalyptic world on the verge of destruction, a girl known only as Little Red vows to take up an ancient sword to vanquish the evil creatures that ravage the land. A deep hatred resides in her heart, and the darkness inside her has the potential of being the catalyst to wipe out the darkness of the world or destroy it entirely.
This started off with a lot of promise. The setting is grim, and it shows potential for a good action-packed revenge story. It quickly starts to fall apart by the end of the first chapter and only gets worse and worse with each chapter that follows. The characters have no depth, development or personality at all, the character designs stick out like a sore thumb, the death scenes were built up to be dramatic but came off feeling laughable because it was impossible to feel any sort of attachment toward them, even the fight scenes and monster designs were extremely dull.
The world building incorporates elements from Little Red Riding Hood and Norse mythology, but does nothing with them. It ultimately ends up feeling like an uninspired D&D campaign where soulless characters move from one objective to the next with no clear purpose, build up or climax. After a while I had to give up on even trying to understand what was going on because it became practically uninterpretable in the entire second half. It's also full of spelling and grammar issues which made it even harder to understand. Maybe if the story was split up into multiple arcs that actually gave enough time to appreciate the characters and the stakes at hand instead of feeling like forty different incomplete fantasy drafts rolled into one, it might've worked out.
The only good thing I can really say about it is that some of the covers look nice.

This was an okay comic. It's a good read for the day.
The girl we know as Little Red is a a sword wielder with a fierce determination to make things right again for herself and for others. By the end of each issue I was wanting to learn more about what she would do next in her quest. As the story progresses you just want more and more for her to succeed. We see a strong willed character with strength to overcome the darkness both literal and figurative surrounding her.
The worst sort of that mid-2000s webcomic pseudo-anime art style, paired with overwritten purple prose and just a generally lackluster story. Nothing good out there in the woods. Be wary, traveller.
