Quite a challenging read, in the same vein as Knut Hamsun's Hunger. A hugely political book shining a light into the failed care in the community initiative.

an intriguing and thought provoking book written from the point of view of an outsider, Aiden, a vulnerable adult with severe difficulties. we see the world through his eyes as a hard, difficult place with very little kindness or understanding from the people he comes into contact with.
