"From day into night, until the end of time, they shall not become one of these." With the prophetic words of a Gypsy grandmother's spell a journey into a compelling new universe begins in A Clans Novel. Tobyn Reyes believed his grandmother's spell would protect him. Instead it opened the door to a new realm of magic and immortality...Tobyn was a man like no half Irish, half Spanish gypsy and all chovihano. Under the protection of his grandmother's spell, he enjoyed the glow of his own uniqueness. That glow caught the attention of another uncommon man, the vampire Michel Dumas. Vampire power plush gypsy magic yielded a situation none of them were prepared to face. No, Tobyn, did not become one of 'these.' But what was he to do when he became one of 'those?'
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. It started on a snowy day near Christmas when I was three or four. I don't recall the impetus, but my older sister, whom I idolized and copied as much as possible, started writing a story. Not to be outdone, I started writing a story too. I've been writing ever since.
I am proud to have written the Rune Series books ("Rune Sword", "Rune Master", "Rune Hunter", and "Rune King's Daughter"), and I intend to continue my first series, Clans, which began with the novel "Nightchild". I'm currently working on an Arthurian retelling, "Arthur Rex".
It's almost impossible to do something new with the vampire genre, but the author has done it! Puts the majority of big house published vampire tales to shame. Sek this one out. You won't regret it.
