I picked this book up at the Rockford Public Library book sale. I have a friend, whose son had a cancerous brain tumor. Darryl Didider was a young man in his mid 20's, when he learned of his brain tumor. His family encouraged him to write a book about his journey through cancer treatments. He used exercise to keep up his spirits, as well as to regain use of his body. He tried always to be positive. He said it took too much energy to be negative. Darryl did volunteer work, as part of his therapy. My friend wondered if the young man had lived, so I did a google search, and found Darryl's obituary. Darryl died at the age of 41, when the cancer very aggressively came back.
