This is perfect for it's age category. It's just spooky enough to not scare off the kiddies but also a little funny.

This would probably be more effective had I read anything else that is part of this series or it's parent series but, it was still good.

Drops of ink leading towards scary books about vampires! Where is all the ink in the books disappearing to? Great atmosphere. The text and pictures really drive the story and will hook in reluctant readers. It is a bit creepy, so sensitive youngins might want to steer clear. There are writing prompts and questions in the back which would make it a great book club selection. Love this series!
