The second in the series of Montana Sunset where we continue on with Mitchell Wightman the oldest brother.Jesse had been in love with Mitchell since she was a teenager. She already knew no other man could set fire to her deepest desires, yet he was determined to ignore her.
. oh my god this was boringly super predictable pablum.
...I never did find out why Mitch was so insistent on pushing her away. The story hints at some dark secret but there was none. safety is fine. No OW stuff and she has a weeny boyfriend at the start, but is still a virgin.
Sometimes a book that is written because the authour had pressure to continue the story of secondary characters doesn't hold much substance, but this was really, really good
Jesse is our heroine, and she isn't about to be walked over by Mitchell as he saves her from him, humph, silly man
She is strong and resilient, she knows what she does and doesn't want and is willing to take chances. The fact that Mitch thought he could resist her is laughable, and he finally realizes that as well
Her torment is stark but again, her strength is evident and all along, really, she is the one who saves him!
