Red is the one! I fell in love with Red in Legend’s book and after reading his story, I love him even more than Legend. His past was horrible and definitely left him scarred but not afraid to love Shana with everything he had. I understood Shana’s reservations and wanted to smack Red for not being upfront with her despite his reasons but love won out. I loved the whole scripture thing coming back to him in his time of need too. Great read!

The is a COMPLETE story. I loved every word from beginning to end. Shana and Red’s love was so real, so realistic. They had their ups and downs but they stuck it out. Perfect love story!

Red and Shana
I’m telling you Red and Legend make you wanna indulge just bit in that rodeo love. I had so many thoughts as I read this book. First, Shana wanted to love and trust, but the way her subconscious was set up, she was waiting for Red to screw up. Now Red, it was amazing how he gave Shana something that he never had. What he went through as a child made me cry, but he was so grown with his love for her, but why can’t we just tell everything when we are serious about a person, that whole Ahmad situation would’ve turned out different. However, why he felt the need to always be with Lacey though, I see why her reaction was that way. Now her dad, deserves him right. I knew he was suspect. I had so many songs in my head reading this story...remember K-Ci and MJB duet “you gotta believe?” How about my anthem by MJB “My Life”, because they were both trying to get the other to have some Understsnding (xscape) of the other. I loved how the scriptures he recited for Legend ended up being for him as well. Love them...

Review!!
As if reading about the Living Legend was a great read here comes his best friend Red who was a gentleman a lover and an all around great person. Shana got on my nerves some she was stubborn and bull headed. I thought when she found out about Asad it would be the end of their relationships but it wasn't it just made them stronger than ever . I cant believe that Shana started participating in the Rodeo as well. I'm glad to see that Legend and Harper are still doing great .

Saddle of love!!!
Well I feel like Red and Shana just took me on one heck of a ride! Through all the craziness they could have easily given up on each other, but their magnetic bond kept pulling them back together. I went through the motions with them. I could relate to Shana on a few things and I was in my feelings! I was so happy for Shana going for something she loved and able to have her man right by her side!! I would catch myself smiling so hard at times while I read, that's how much this book warmed my heart. This was such an amazing read!!!

A Classic
This goes out to all the lovers in the world tonight lol! This book is a classic hit. Not only did I enjoy reading it, but I had fun reading it too. With books like this one, i like to take my time reading. The storyline was just as great as 8 Seconds. These two are my favorites from this author. Red and Shana overcame a lot. What better way to go through or heal than with the one you love and trust? My take away was "In all thy getting, get an understanding." You can deal with things better if you understand what's going on. I got my happy ending though lol. If you want to know what happened or feel the way I'm feeling, get the book. Amazing Read!

Red😍😍
While I loved me some Legend, Red took the cake. To overcome the things he did and still be able to love Shana the way he did makes him one of my all time favorite book bae’s. The love they had for each other can only be described as true love. Shana got on my nerves at time but her actions was understandable after being hurt the way she was. Together they made each other better.

Red and Shana’s story literally jumps off the page. I knew they would have something to say but I was not expecting this and as a fan of Ms. Walters’ and she did not disappoint. I laughed, cried (real tears), and got hot you can’t ask for anything more can you😁. Hey I can see a story somewhere for Lacey and her new beau oh I’m falling in love with the rodeo life. What a ride
Phew. What a ride! Red turned out to be an extraordinary man despite his beginning and Shana once she learned to trust was a great catch herself. Childhood traumas definitely get carried into adulthood. Glad to see it all worked out in the end. Always great and entertaining reads.

Come through Red!
I knew I liked me some Red! He is that dude! The way he loved Shana is beautiful and inspiring. I love that although life was hard for him, it also gave him more than he could imagine. I think that is why he appreciated the little things. His patience with Shana allowed her to open her heart again. I was worried about Lacey but I’m glad she was drama free. There are women like her in real life and I’m glad no unnecessary drama was added. Now Sheriff made me want to slap him. I tried to have some compassion for him but he made it tough because he didn’t try to do right until he was caught.

You see the glory but not the story
Red! His story was an overcomers story! My goodness! He went through so much as a child and once it was revealed it explained so much. Jacqueline has a host of demons in hell that are keeping her company now. Despite all that he went through he bettered himself and was a good person. He was so deserving of love.
Shana locked her heart up after salvaging it from a horrible relationship. That man did a number on her and no other man alive was gonna get that key. She only gave pieces of herself and never all in a relationship. No man was getting all of her. She was a daddy’s girl with an independent streak, quick temper and slick mouth. She deserved to be loved, cherished and protected, but she didn’t trust nobody.
These two were good together and once trust, loyalty and love was allowed to flourish their relationship went to new heights!

I loved reading about Craig Anderson “Red”
I read this series out of order because Craig Anderson aka “Red” had become my favorite. As an encourager, I appreciated how he would encourage Legend and anyone around him. What happens when the encourager needs encouragement? Along comes Shana who was what the Red needed. His hot chocolate didn’t take no mess from Red and no one else. She pushed him to be a better person, father, friend and husband.
It brings me joy to read about Liberty,Texas and my favorite hamburger place “Whataburger”! Thank you AuthorMonica Walters for putting Liberty, Dayton, Devers, China & Nome Texas in your books. There are some good people and great food in those towns. I can’t forget to mention the Rodeo life. Life lessons, fellowship and life long friendships are birthed and supported in the Rodeo life.

Pulled at my heart strings
I knew I liked Red when I was reading through the Henderson series and noticed how he prayed over Legend and Tiff before their competitions. However, reading his story just made me love his character. For him to have endured so much growing up, but still manage to pour into other was heartwarming. He immediately knew he wanted Shana and went for it. Even with her fighting him off a bit in the beginning, Red knew she was his forever. Then we have Shana. She worked my nerves a bit in the beginning and I was seriously thinking that she may have a needed a bit of therapy. However, when she realized she may lose Red, she got herself together. What I will say is I respected Lacey’s character for recognizing that Red’s vulnerability would have led to them making a mistake.

This was such an amazing read!!!…This book showed that you are not what you been through and when things are put in place to break you, you may bend, but you are not broken and you can definitely come out on top!!!…
Craig and Shana was the epitome of strength and love can be had when you open yourself up to receive!!!…Craig/Red had the faith because he spoke it into his best friend Legend, but he and Shana only had to look at each other to speak life and faith into each other!!!…
Craig/Red endured a lot in his childhood and all he wanted in adulthood was someone to love him, love him genuinely and finding out he had a son added the icing on the cake!!!…
I was happy that Shana opened her eyes because Craig/Red was there for the taking and he wanted to bring her along for the ride!!!…

When Your Heart And Head Lone Up Together!
Monica, Monica, man oh man. Red's story touched me so much. I already saw him as this smooth laid back brother that trusted God and was a calming force for those he loved. Shane had no trust in men at all, she didn't even realize how much she was gonna be involved in every aspect of Red's life.
They both had some serious issues that they needed to work out after some situations came to the forefront they realized they could concur the world. It was so good seeing both of them learn to trust each other without question.
All that Red went through made him the strong man he is today. Red's love helped Shane through a hurt she never saw coming. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Pure amazement
On my goodness I just don’t where to start with this amazing book... Red and Shana just pure perfection from beginning to end but I knew that from the beginning that their story was going to be superb... Red sugar was amazing even with all the trauma he faced when he was younger he overcame his past with the fervent love from Shana and was able to reciprocate just the same with intense passion I loved it... Also Shana was equally amazing at how she threw caution to the wind to let love in and able to share something so special with Red... I can’t stop swooning over these two..Definitely more than a five star read

Red and Shana were made specifically for each other. They laugh, fought, cried, sexed, and rodeo’d together. Shana was one hell of a woman. It took her a while to understand that Red was different than any guy from her past but when she got it, that man blessed her. I loved how he could deflate and she was right there breathing air right back into him. As he said he was in it from the very start but he had to earn her respect. I’m glad Lacey was a grown respectable woman because I couldn’t see the dynamic between the four of the working otherwise. Monica you did a great job with this one!
