Totes excited for the trip to the hotsprings to begin on volume 4!! The extra chapter's sweetness is killing me. I know I'm getting some action done before the actual terrible "action" to take place. Iori's brother is just so fricken terrible.

UGH I still can’t believe I decided to pick up an ongoing series this early on because I NEED THE NEXT VOLUME
This series is a breath of fresh air and the wing beneath my wings.
Yuuki and Iori officially start dating, she’s doing that whole working hard bit, isn’t annoying, and Iori wants her to lean on him. They’re kissing a lot and about to go on an overnight trip together!!!! And bless her being 20 and him being 23 because the two communicate and I squeal.
I’m also enjoying that Seno didn’t end up a stick in the mud and a true antagonist was introduced here! I’m so psyched for the next volume :’)

I loved this volume! The art is just stunning! I can't believe that so much has happened in just three volumes, but I will definitely keep this series going!

Last volume’s cliffhanger wraps up in record fashion and not in the way you might expect. With dating primed to begin, we learn more of Iori’s backstory as well and there’s a curveball coming of dubious intent.
My general feelings of dissatisfaction have finally sorted themselves out and I can now recognize why this manga was bugging me, which I hope means I can enjoy it more going forward by expecting less of it (there’s some faint praise).
Bluntly, this story doesn’t want to be anything deep and insightful. It’s a fuzzy bit of romance that only goes far enough to get done what it wants to do. There’s no deep characterization or intricacies to the drama. It’s Melrose Place, not My So-Called Life.
When plot complications occur, they are so remarkably broad that they only serve to reinforce my opinion. Everything with Iori’s long-lost brother (borderline ridiculous in this day and age, doubly so given where he actually is), especially, is laughably stupid and his motivations are, to put a point on it, way dumb.
“Motivations” is probably underselling it, as these have blown up into full scale machinations (his hair has literally turned black by this point too, for some presumably unintended symbolism) that ropes in Seno, the would-be rival who had previously been fine to respect Yuuki’s decision. So much for that.
For some people I think this big swing will be a lot of fun, but it feels so half-assed that I’m not really interested in it. It’s just a stumbling block that takes everything down a more predictable path to not much of a payoff beyond the inevitable.
Again, this was fine in Waiting For Spring, where you had two basketball bros flailing their testosterone at one another. That rivalry made sense. Interfering siblings because they think they know better than you who you should date is, and I don’t want to overstate here, stupid.
I can’t even begin to explain what the heck happens with the mean dentist from last time, except apparently the mangaka decided they didn’t want to pursue that avenue so just swung it a whole other way (Iori’s befuddlement at this change is about the equal of my own). It feels like it skips major narrative moments.
What gets my bloomers in a bunch over this stuff is that the part where it bothers to focus on the relationship is actually really good. Yuuki apologizes for making baseless assumptions last time and listening to the rumour mill, they also talk more about their experiences. As if conversation might improve their relationship or something!?
Iori has a past he’s not thrilled with and he’s trying to do better, that’s actually good drama. It’s enough drama. Reckoning with a partner’s previous life is worth exploring. Yuuki is learning more about him and how to express her own desires. There’s even a bit of a nod to her lack of experience that was more than expected.
There’s no need to lump so much more on this when the basics are good enough. The last parts of this volume are like watching a perfectly functional, if unspectacular, boat slowly foundering on the rocks. Like I said, I can see this being somebody’s cup of tea who wants this sort of story, but it’s a bad version of something I typically don’t enjoy.
We’ll see how it goes, but I have to say that all of that left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am incredibly unenthused for where that might end up going. At least we’ll have an incident free (although hopefully not incident free, ahem) hot springs visit beforehand.

Continuo a trovare questa serie molto dolce e tenera, in questo volume poi le dinamiche iniziano a farsi più movimentate oltre al fatto che inizia a scoprirsi sempre di più il rapporto tra Iori e suo fratello.

Disegni bellissimi e una storia che sa il fatto suo — 4 stelle
Un altro volume tenero e piacevole, con quei disegni che continuano a incantarmi.
Il terzo volume di ”Era destino che ti incontrassi” prosegue con la sua dolcezza e i suoi ritmi pacati. La storia rimane carina e scorrevole, niente di troppo complicato, ma riesce comunque a tenere vivo l’interesse.
Ancora una volta, il punto forte sono i disegni: eleganti, curati e capaci di trasmettere emozioni anche nei momenti più semplici.
Un manga che continuo a leggere volentieri, proprio per la sua atmosfera romantica e delicata.
Un altro volume tenero e piacevole, con quei disegni che continuano a incantarmi.

Honestly I don’t know why I’m so surprised I’m loving this series when I was a big fan of the authors other manga “waiting for spring”
This series is so cute but mature !! I love where the relationship between Lori and Yuuki is going and how they are taking their time with the relationship but are still so affectionate it’s rare to see in mangas sometimes!!
Not a fan of his brother Ibuki - why would you try and set up your girlfriend with your brother and even suggest breaking your brother’s relationship up? What an odd thing to do.
Excited to see how Lori and Yuuki’s hot spring holibobs goes !!!

È stato con questo vol che mi sono innamorata di questo manga prima che fosse pubblicato 🥹🥰
Partirei con l’elencare le cose che ho adorato fino ad ora e che in generale apprezzo molto di questo manga (perché per il momento sembrano mantenersi così, non so le intenzioni dell’autrice ma spero non esageri con i colpi di scena):
💕 Yuuki e Iori, li amo. Una delle mie coppie preferite del momento. Finalmente un manga dove non si perde tempo e un po’ più maturo. Mi piace troppo come sembrano già molto intimi nonostante si stiano ancora conoscendo poco a poco. Inoltre è adorabile vedere come entrambi ci mettano impegno affinché vada bene (yuuki è troppo carina, mi piace troppo, in questo vol in particolare, è stata molto più espansiva e diretta).
💕 Grazie Anashin sensei per i primi piani di Yori e per gli innumerevoli baci 🙇🏻♀️
💕 SENO. Parliamo di Seno. Non amo i triangoli, ma in questo manga si è inserito in un modo che non mi ha infastidito anzi, perché non l’ho trovato forzato. E poi lui adorabile. Finalmente qualcuno che si comporta come ci si dovrebbe comportare. Spero che l’autrice abbia in serbo qualcosa per lui.

L’unica cosa che non mi convince è tutta sta storia del fratello, per il momento la trovo stupida e insensata. Il fatto però che tutto parta praticamente da la mi mette molta curiosità, sia per quanto riguarda quanto è successo ma soprattutto perché voglio vedere cosa ha architettato l’autrice 🤔

Se me hace muy raro que en cosa de nada Yuuki e Iori ya sean pareja, pero bueno, dejando eso de lado, creo que los dos se ven bonitos juntos y lo cierto es que él es muy lindo y ella se está esforzando para que los dos puedan irse a un mini-viaje para festejar su cumpleaños.
Pienso que el conflicto se va a mover hacia el hermano mayor de Iori, ya que éste regresa por rumores y da a entender que quiere que su hermano y la persona que gusta de él se queden juntos (aunque ninguno de los dos se guste). Básicamente él no tiene los huev*s de decirle a la chica que no quiere nada con ella y quiere pasársela a su hermano como si fuese un objeto. No quiere tomar responsabilidad de nada –un tipejo horrible.
Lo curioso es que, aunque pudieran verse como “rivales en el amor”, Iori y Sano anteponen el bienestar de Yuuki. Lo que me intriga es ver qué desmadres van a provocar el hermano mayor y cómo van a solucionarlo porque ella tiende mucho a malinterpretar las cosas.

Siendo un tomo realmente muy de impasse, a pesar de que pasan cosas muy importantes para el avance de la trama, Anashin comienza a narrarnos la relación amorosa de Yuki e Iori, realmente la pareja principal de la obra y la finalidad misma de esta historia: ser testigos del desarrollo personal y amoroso de ambos.
Habiendo reconocido sus sentimientos por Iori, Yuki no quiere seguir escondiendo el amor que siente por el chico, máxime cuando han aclarado que a él no le gusta ninguna otra chica. O, al menos, no la supuesta novia de su hermano. Sintiendo que debe evolucionar, crecer como persona para estar a la altura de lo que le trasmite Iori, Yuki comienza a coger más confianza en sí misma, a esforzarse y a luchar por lo que quiere. Eso hará que, una vez vuelvan a verse, Yuki esté más que dispuesta a confesarle sus sentimientos a Iori. Pero el chico se le adelanta. Dejando de ser amigos para traspasar el umbral del noviazgo, ambos empiezan a salir juntos.

Ten times better than the previous volumes! Wow! Color me impressed!
I'm still not overly hooked on this series but this volume helped me to see why the hype is real for the series. The characters are significantly more interesting and appreciate the open communication that's taking place. Plus the lack of drama made this volume my "favorite" of the three! LOL!
I had to use the last of my tickets and points to read this volume on K MANGA, but I do feel relieved that I at least read this far so that no one can say I dropped it "too early." I don't plan to read anymore, but I hope I've appeased everyone who hoped I would read this series! I wouldn't have come back and given this series a second chance otherwise! 😆

Sono davvero felice di aver scelto di continuare a dare fiducia a questo manga, perché ogni volume diventa sempre più bello.
In questo volume entriamo finalmente nel nucleo della storia e i protagonisti riescono finalmente a fare i passi decisivi per approfondire il loro rapporto, anche se qualcuno nell'ombra sembra tramare contro la loro nascente relazione.
I disegni continuano a essere puliti e curati, adoro un sacco lo stile di Anashin!
Adesso mi tocca aspettare luglio per sapere come andrà a finire!!!

Once again, PHENOMENAL! This is so refreshing and unique, like it takes really basic and commonly used tropes and just does SO much with them. Even though this is one of the cases where the second male lead is NOT my first choice, the maturity he is showing in this volume has me ALMOST on his side like yes king i support what you're doing! Not being petty and jealous but rather prioritising her happiness even though it causes you pain instead of trying to get in the way like you're a MAN.
I love this so much im frothing at the mouth!!

Still loving this!!! I find Yuki super relatable and watching her navigate her first relationship is really nice to read. Iori is so handsome and sweet. 🩷 Also his brother?? Very handsome and he looks like Suguru and Takumi.. I’m sus. 👀
