The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet and Julius Caesar are the two comedies and two tragedies in this collection. Set in Venice, Athens, Denmark and Rome they tell the stories of Antonio, a merchant and his friends; a night of magic and enchantments in the forest; of ghosts, madness and murder; and finally of power and betrayal.
What a nice collection of stories from Shakespeare :)) Revisiting the stories of "Hamlet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream", told in prose, not play verses, was so cool. I actually laughed out loud while reading "A Midsummer Night's Dream", which is a good sign, since this is a comedic story :D And getting to know the stories of "The Merchant of Venice" and "Julius Caesar" was also a great experience ^^
ouh my god i love this book, i can imagine clearly. and i’m sad when the stories done. honestly i really want to read the complete version of the stories.
Les recomiendo mucho este libro y mas si quieren empezar a leer sobre este increíble autor, William Shakespeare 💕 how can you hope for mercy for yourself when you show no mercy to Antonio?
