This is a short, 50 page story about a middle-school teacher who is catching up on her work and somehow slips into a Twilight-zone type of scenario. The sky suddenly goes pitch black, her phone and the clock stop working, and all of the students and teachers are suddenly just gone, without any explanation. Worse: there's a creepy entity that is watching over her. This is a good story, but it left me wanting more. I would love to read an expanded, novel-length version of this, as I'm sure that it would make for a great story.
