The Fae elder promised to tackle the Exile problem. Now he's dead and Tiff's next.

For a tooth fairy private eye, bogus missing person cases are bad business. Failing to rescue missing children weakens her metaphysical anchor. When that anchor snaps, Tiff will plunge back into a reality where exiled fairies want her dead.

Going home is inevitable when Tiff learns of the elder's death. The newest head of Atlanta's human trafficking group is to blame. To make things worse, a slew of foreign exchange students go missing under mysterious circumstances.

Tiff must navigate two realities to save a group of teens. Not to mention a devious new nemesis and unexpected hallucinations.

great fun and full of surprises

I always enjoy these books and this latest in the series did not disappoint. In this one, we get to see a glimpse of pure fantasy as we follow our tooth fairy into another surprising …turn in the series. As always, I love this author’s clear writing and storytelling style. The worlds he creates are fully resolved and interesting. The pace is always great, forward moving. Some of the characters are really really funny. One of my favorite lines of the series is in this book. My only criticism would be that this book ended somewhat abruptly, but I trust it is purely intended as set-up for #6 and I’m here for it!!

Another mystery thriller that keeps you on your toes and scratching your head!

What I loved about this installment of Osseous was that we got to see more of Fae and their elder burial ritual, which was magical, interesting, and wonderfully creepy. There were also many parts that made me laugh out loud (especially concerned the group's reaction to Joshua's situation), and a sweet moment at the end that made me grin like the hopeless romantic I am.

I didn't see the big reveal at the end coming at all, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. I'm rooting for you, Tiff and Co.!

Much better!

Thanks for finally giving us some answers! This one has been a long time coming, I loved the insider spin, as heart breaking as it was. I will be diving into the new book to see how Tiff and Co. plan to shut it all down, and the solution for what Fae needs as well.
