My path of vengeance took a detour when I was rescued by the gargoyles of Castle Viegls. For several months I allowed myself to become settled with these men; to think I could have a life when once I didn’t.
But danger is attracted to danger, and that’s exactly what I brought to this sanctuary. Now this group has been ripped apart. Putting DB, Knox and Hunter in harms way was never what I wanted. To keep them safe, I’ll have to leave.
I will get my revenge on the Lycans, but not before I make things right. I never came here to replace anyone. Being here has made me want to stay, but I can’t do that when I’m the threat. I’ll make sure that I bring the guys back together before I go after the Lycans.
And if I survive that, hopefully they’ll welcome me back.

We didn’t escape the Lycans unscathed. Knox is hurt—physically and emotionally. My powers are gone. And Javion…

Over 1500 pages of steamy reverse harem goodness - where our heroine is trying to recover from being used as a power source for most of her life. Although she's fractured, she's not completely broken, however, this past abuse may be triggering for some readers. This is a reverse harem series with broody alpha gargoyles, twins, and an alphahole vampire. It also contains MM scenes with two members of the harem already being in an established relationship. Grounded is meant for mature audiences.

3 Stars - Series Review
Soooo….I probably would have never picked up this series if I knew what it was going to be like. If you’re looking for a romance book then skip this one. If you’re looking for a steamy reverse harem then skip this book. If you just want an action/adventure paranormal type series then you might like these.
The world building in this series doesn’t really happen. It’s supposed to be set in the current world, but with supernatural elements…except, other than different supernatural races and vague references to a council we don’t know anything about how the world works. ‘Lycan’s are evil,’ that’s all the world building we get.
The character building was good. We get to know the MMC’s pretty well and they all have back stories. The relationships were garbage. I saw literally no reason for any of the males to switch from hating FMC to claiming/bonding with her. Where did these feelings come from, and why? We weren’t shown any reason for a change in feelings. There was also no tangible “bond” and there was no definite “claiming”. It’s like they made the decision and that was all. There was no real romance involved.
There were only about three sex scenes with the FMC throughout the entire series. There were two MM sex scenes. The spice in this book is also extremely tame. The few spicy scenes that were included were incredibly short (like pump and done) and only a step beyond ‘fade to black.’

Interesting start, but it lacked a lot of other things to make me continue reading it.
Zara was held in a cage and used as a battery to power-up a lycan village. She knows nothing of the outside world. She escapes and is somewhat rescued by males who take her back to their house. The story falls apart for me because she knows absolutely nothing of the outside word bc she was held a prisoner her whole life. But she wants to take a bath and finds it relaxing after years pf being toetured with water. Makes no sense. How does she know what a bath is? Also, the author shows PTSD as a flip switch change, now she had a flashback but now she is cured. Same goes for the bonds. One of the males is a complete jerk to her, and out of nowhere, he just declares to her that she is his. When did this bond happen?

perfect
I read the 3 books in under 2 days. There was a perfect amount of everything and the main character was so relatable to anyone with ptsd or any type of trauma. She also was portrayed like she had autism (she didn’t, she was just unknowledgeable from her “upbringing”) because of the way she didn’t adhere to social norms which made it very refreshing. She literally would say what I was trying to scream at the other characters lol and it was amazing. 100% loved these books

I get her story and why it affects a lot of her character, priorities, and motivations but the naive schtick got tired very easily. The explanation just doesn't match up with the reason, but I'm not going to say more because of spoilers.
There were also a lot of inconsistencies with her knowledge vs her experiences as well as some of the science (I get it's fiction but some of it just doesn't make sense even for fiction). I just gave up and DNFed more than halfway through the books

A great read, I recommend to everyone that like action and fun.
A the story is exciting and keeps you wondering what will happen next. It is different from any other shifted series, but edge of your seat suspense. The characters grow with each h page. Can't q for my next complete seeing this signed. Well done and thank you.

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t 100% sold to begin with but I’m so glad I stuck with it! Zee’s literal responses cracked me up and even though I wanted to bang the MMCs heads together on numerous occasions, it really didn’t detract from the book. Javion is my absolute fave. I hope we have (or get) some books with the side characters as there is definitely potential there. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Zeta started her life as a literal battery. And gets her revenge. Love her. She’s so innocent and naive about everything. Love the guys. Each one really came through the story and have their own special connection with her.

Brilliant!!!
I absolutely loved Zera and her men! I love how even though she was wrecked, she was not broken. I love how the men fought for her and with her, once they finally realized how much they had underestimated her! It was just a really great story!

Interesting characters, good story. Love the strong lead that proves to her mates that she’s stronger than them but still had the confidence to tell them she was stronger than them the whole time.

Good concept, rushed ending
I like this series, I did get close to DNFing it but got through it and I was happy with the overall story. The ending felt very rushed, it could have used more meat, but otherwise, a great story with an original concept

absolutely devoured
Could not put this one down. Love how she doesn’t automatically become ripped after working out for a day, the banter is so lively I could not stop smiling. Their affection was everything and Would recommend it 100% and read again.

WOW!!
New author for me.
This story has me captivated from the first chapter. Each character had a different personality and traits that kept the story interesting.
I loved the innocence of Zee and will definitely read something else by this author.

really great book
I read the whole series in a day in a half. I couldn’t put it down. I really liked that the author was able to make the MC innocent without infantilizing her.

C'est un peu fâchant la façon dont la FMC réagi comme un enfant parfois mais en même temps ça correspond au fait qu'elle a été enfermé étant enfant et n'a jamais rien appris. J'aurais aimé que son caractère vieillisse un peu plus de mais c'est correct on va dire que ça fait partie de son charme!
