Life within the dome is comfortable, secure and predictable. What lies on the outside is the unknown; the work of the other creator.Lara, a young woman on the verge of a bright future in her world is suddenly confronted by the very thing she fears, but is more than curious about. Two worlds collide in this sci-fi short where significant choices are made and long forgotten promises are fulfilled.
Lora lives in a world that is made by man when the outside world was destroyed. She doesn't know anything different but she remembers what her Grandmother use to say about the grass being different in the real world. One day an outsider, Casian, is caught at the border and brought into Lora's world. She discovers that not only is there life outside, but it isn't something that will kill her. Casian and Lora decide that they would rather live in the outside world free than within the protection of the man-made world.
I didn't find this book as well written as it could have been. It seemed that the author rushed through the story. With it being only 40 pages that sometimes happens. Not a book I would recommend.
Pretty good as a short story, but could have been made into a pretty interesting full-length book if given the chance, since it had a pretty cool premise.
