In HBP, there is a pivotal moment where things could have gone very differently for Harry and Draco. In the bathroom sixth year, Draco is upset that Harry has caught him crying and throws a hex. It escalates and ends in blood, with Harry nearly killing Draco by accident.

In this story, instead, unvoiced attraction to Harry motivates Draco to take a chance and kiss him. Once sparked, their mutual desire and exploration becomes the driving force in the alternative ending to the series. Draco's "mission" from Voldemort turns out to be more complex than that presented in canon and their solution even more difficult.

381 pages. 300 pages of Harry and Draco having sex. 81 pages of plot.
Seriously. Sex upon sex upon a couple hundred 'yours!' Upon more sex of course.

My first Drarry fanfic. It was well. Hot? Tiring? Forever long? A little bit of all three.

I was so not expecting that ending! Holy crap!

I will read more of this series. But spread out. Goodness, I have had enough Drarry sex for at least a month. (I can't believe I said that!)

I think if here was just a bit more plot between the sex I would of rated this better.

I'm intrigued by all of the high ratings and awards that this received. Perhaps it's because it's an older fanfic and quality has gone up since? But this is far from the best Drarry fic I've read and far from being a favorite.

The concept is intriguing enough: what if there were kisses instead of curses when Harry finds Draco crying in the bathroom 6th year? It started well enough, but went some really weird places after that.

The unintentional magical bonding that required Draco to be penetrated at least daily by Harry in order not to die, the times they cut it too close and Harry had to begin with Draco not only unconscious but cold and unresponsive, the whole accidentally slicing your finger open and then inserting it--bleeding, but covered in lube--into someone's anus, and then the solution Harry finds at the last second to Draco's problem all were slightly eyebrow-raising, if not completely off-putting.

And the sex. Good lord, the sex. At least once a chapter. And with the repeating of the "I'm yours" at least once each time. Got very repetitive.

So, overall, good idea, too much sex and weirdness in the execution for me to give more than 2.5 stars. Always rounding up for Drarry, though. ;)

I just...I have no idea what to say about this book. There was an interesting story and yeah I'm totally digging Harry/Draco together. There was also a lot of sex. I mean, a lot of sex. Heroic levels of sex (if that is even such a thing). And there was that thing with the knife at the end--and can I say holy fuck!--which I was not expecting at all. I mean, I was still in bloody tears over the whole you only have a few hours left to live thing and then Harry goes and...well, best not to spoil the surprise. But, seriously? WTF?!

3.5 stars. I think. Maybe?

Oh, slashpervert fanfic! Where to start? Umm...Her fanfics are PornWithPlot. A lot of porn and not the vanilla sort.
Apart from Harry Potter and the Bound Prince I've read slashpervert's Blind Beauty, Shooting Star, To Give Everything, Undesirable and its sequel Unexpected, believe it or not, for the plot.
I guess The Bound Prince Series are most popular of her works and first book in the series won the Quill to Parchment Awards for Best Male Slash, Best Novel, and Best Post-War.

This is like 90% smut, I’m not mad about it, I just really should have taken ‘concubine’ more seriously when I read it. They will fuck in EVERY chapter at least once. And again, not even mad about it.

But if you’re not here for A LOT of smut and honestly not a terrible plot (what of one there is) this is a great time no regrets loaded up the second one already.

Ok clearly this is a Harry Potter fanfic. It's nestled into the storyline during the events of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This story though takes a giant side step after one crucial moment where Harry comes upon Draco in the bathroom. Admittedly I'm a reader of MM Romance and I was curious to see where this story was going to go with a romance between Harry and Draco. It was recommended to me for another challenge and I figured why not. Yeah...no. Not that I minded the relationship between Harry and Draco actually. That was an interesting twist and would have been fun for me if the writing had been better. This is really essentially a PWP story and didn't really go anywhere until the end of the story. I would have enjoyed this with the arch the author introduced if it had been written in a style meant to loop Draco into the good side more and less about this ridiculous sexual connection between the two boys. I would have enjoyed them discovering how to get Draco out of his curse and save Harry and him as a couple. But all of that is a very miniscule portion of the book. All in all I was left rather frustrated and probably will never end up reading the rest of the series. I would rate this as 2.5 stars, but I think I'll round up for the potential of it maybe being more interesting later now that they're not hiding.

If I had a nickel for every time I read a long Drarry fic with d/s dynamics where Harry and Draco suddenly hook up while still hating each other and get extremely attached after a few days in a sexual relationship, where Draco acts submissive towards Harry and one or both of them have an increased libido because of magical reasons which causes a scene where they 'unwillingly' have public sex in front of a third party; and where the fic started off as a porn with plot story but actually ended up having a whole plot with a partial rewrite of the Harry Potter series I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice.

Anyways onto the review.
Its actually insane this fic was originally published in 2006 before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows because its so good and I actually love the characterization. As mentioned before, Harry Potter and the Bound Prince is basically set during Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, it starts off with Harry being super suspicious of Draco's behaviour and thinking that he's a Death Eater. When Harry starts to confront Draco, Draco says he'll tell him what he's doing if he kisses him. Harry reluctantly agrees but when he does kiss him he realizes how much he wants Draco and they begin a sexual and romantic relationship.
Draco then reveals that Voldemort wants him to kill someone that is close to Harry or he'll die on his next birthday from a cursed snake on his arm. The rest of the story follows Harry and Draco, who are in love, and Harry trying to find a way to undo the enchantment Voldemort put on Draco all while Draco is bound to Harry because of how freaky they got when sleeping together.

I honestly wasn't going to read this fic because I read a bit and felt it to be a little too insta love-y and thought it had Ron bashing (it doesn't really it just seems that way); there are also 7 installments in this series and wasn't sure if I could read all that.
BUT I decided to revisit it and I'm so glad I did.
I lovedd the main plot point of Draco being "bound" to Harry; mostly because I really like d/s dynamics in Drarry and also because it made the story so much more interesting and it gave a reason as to why they slept together so much. I did think it was odd how they were so in love after literally only sleeping together/being together for 4 DAYS but I also love fast burn in fics so I didn't mind too much. The authors also didn't tone down Harry or Draco's characters and I liked how they still argued and fought while being together but still resolved any conflicts they had between them.
The angst was so delicious too.
The way Draco and Harry loved each other so much and Harry was literally ready to burn the world down in order to save Draco from the mark was so sweet and it hit sooo good omg. I lovedd some of the scenes towards the end and the way the authors approached the end of this installment.
Specifically, I was pretty surprised that Harry amputating Draco's arm worked?? It was such an out-of-pocket solution and was super unexpected and I was surprised they didn't think of it sooner. That being said, I actually really liked the end of this fic and found it interesting how Draco still lost something even if he became free from the deadline.
I know a lot of people thought there was too much sex in this fic but I actually really liked that aspect and just like pwp long fics in general.
I'm planning on reading the next fic in this series because I lovedd this one so much but I'm not sure if I'll continue considering Draco's death deadline is gone now and I really liked the angst that brought.
Overall, Harry Potter and the Bound Prince had such a cute depiction of Draco and Harry and I adored how in love they were and how they were basically ready to end it all for one another. 5/5 stars ⭐️

This book is almost all sex, with just enough plot to keep the reader interested in the story. Harry is fucking Draco, and magically binds themselves together, essentially making Draco his concubine, his slave, Draco has to pretty much do everything Harry says. Oh, and if Harry doesn't fuck Draco every day, Draco dies.

The sex is off the charts hot, even if there is way too much of it. Draco and Harry fall in love, and things get rather sappy quite often, with a lot of "yours forever" "always" "mine", etc.

Harry being Harry, is trying his best NOT to compel Draco to do things against his will, so don't go thinking of this as him taking advantage or going to the dark side or anything, he's still very much Harry, doing things without thinking.

This is a long series, and I'm interested in the story, we'll see if I can keep up with it while skimming all the sex.

This is really a review for the whole series. I found it to be surprisingly Moorish, very much porn wit a plot, but I liked both the plot and most (not quite all) of the porn. Draco was quite a cool character, very much a good Slytherin, also extremely emo. Also mpreg! And a lot of other kinks! But it still has a plot...
Um, well as to this particular book I liked it the best of the whole series. I found their stupid affair and chemistry to be hilairiously silly, pasionate an characteristically teenaged.

What would happen if Draco decided to kiss Harry in the bathroom in 6th year instead of us Sectumsempra? This whole series (7 full volumes, longer than the original series and more interesting!) addresses that question.

It takes you to some really bizarre situations, but hey, it's magic, anything can happen!

Harry and Draco. Not a relationship that I could have ever pictured, but the authors did a great job of pulling this story off. I enjoyed the way the story line stayed mostly true to the original with the necessary twists needed. Yes, lots of HOT S-E-X, as per other reviewers, but I felt it only detracted in a place or two.
