New Day Diva #3

Love, Honor, or Stray

Rate this book
Now that Deborah has finally let go of the past that haunted her for so many years, is she ready to grab hold of love? The handsome Lynox Chase certainly hopes so, as he tries everything to win Deborah's heart. Even though she believes in her heart that Lynox is the husband God has for her, there still seems to be a barrier separating the two.

The ringing of the wedding bells between Paige and Blake can still be heard echoing, but will the roar of temptation rear its ugly head when Paige begins to find comfort in the least-expected old friend?

Just when Tamarra manages to put out one fire, yet another one sparks. When a relative of the person who committed an unspeakable act against Tamarra tries to strike up a relationship with her, what really strikes up is the largest blaze imaginable. Tamarra doesn't even have faith that God can get this one under control.

Love, Honor or Stray is the most compelling book of the New Day Divas Series yet.

Inferno,

'Love, Honor or Stray,' book three in the New Day Divas series, starts and Sister Deborah is back from a much needed sabbatical after coming to grips with her parts of her painful past. Just as her heart is starting to open to the possibility of giving Lynox, an aspiring author, a chance, her ex-fiancé Elton is back in town. Is this fate?

Paige is still in the newlywed phase of her marriage. While most couples can't keep their hands off of one another during this time, it almost seems as if Blake married his job and Paige is the mistress. Most women would be pleased by a husband who wants to be able to provide for his family. Happy, Paige also wanted her husband to want to meet her every need. Will temptation get the best of her?

Tamarra is trying to do all she can to maintain her sanity. First, she's having to accept that Maeyl, the guy she's dating, is a father. Something she never wanted after learning her ex Edward had a secret family. But when Raygene, her niece, shows up out the blue, she can't handle having her in her city, let alone in her life. Though she tries to pretend like she can handle all that's coming her way, jealousy, hate and fear have immobilized her.

Drama from start to finish, 'Love, Honor or Stray' is more intense than the other two books thus far. I love Sister Doreen and the way she uses bible verses to put people in their place. I'm loving that the series deals with Christians, Christianity, sins, backsliding, love, lust, diabetes, uncertainty, secrets, lies and jealousy. It's real life drama that makes it easy to turn the pages.

Now on the real, the editing is better, but there are still issues with misspellings. I was most bothered by the fact that we met Deborah as Deborah Lewis and her name was changed to Lucas. Even with that, I cannot wait to read book four. I'm looking forward to how things will fair with the rest of the New Day Divas.

In book three of the New Day Divas Series Love, Honor Or Stray by E.N. Joy, Deborah has let go of her past and is ready to move forward with her life. She meets Lynox Chase an eligible bachelor that is trying his best to win her over. Deborah has a feeling that God has sent Lynox to her but she cannot move forward until she handles her unfinished business. Paige and Blake are newlyweds living in bliss until Blake's work schedule starts consuming all of his time and Paige is feeling left out. Paige is in need of entertainment and soon finds it in an unexpected friend.

Tamarra has been doing a great job at putting out fires seeming that she is a business owner. When a family member of the person that treated Tamarra wrong tries to start up a friendship all hell breaks loose. Tamarra realizes that she must turn to her faith in order to pull through this dilemma.

Love, Honor Or Stray is the story about holding on to your faith by letting go and letting God. The author provides well developed characters that capture your heart in this book. While reading this book I could not contain my emotions and could not put the book down. I applaud this author for her exceptional writing and sharing these characters. I definitely recommend this book to others.

This is book 3 of the New Day Divas series. Sister Deborah is back from her sabbatical. Deborah began to open up to having a relationship with Lenox. Her ex; Elton appears back in town. Paige is a newlywed and feels that Blake is married to his job. Paige only wants Blake to spend quality time with her husband. Tamarra is trying to hold it together and forget about her past and accept Maeyl’s daughter. Tamarra’s niece has moved to Ohio and tries to build a relationship with her. Tamarra is not trying to have a relationship with her niece. This is an awesome book that talks about love, lust, health, secrets, lies and jealousy…..A must read!!!

It was confusing trying to read about the different characters but about one-third of the way through this book, it really got interesting. I think it would have helped if I had read the books in order,

Woven tapestry or beautiful interconnection of relationships. Which ever way you look at it, this is another stunner from Joy. This is the second of her novels I've read and I enjoyed the story for it rich texture of truth, credible characters and fresh everyday outlook of living and loving in the skins of us human frailty. No character is wasted everyone fits neatly, locked into the whole schema

This was a great book. The author has dealt with some everyday issues. Sometimes people can be so hurt or broken that communication becomes impossible and it can destroy relationships. I really enjoyed this story.
