A young man develops towards his adulthood; the journey revealed in a series of daydreams. Along a country path of his rural hometown, he finds his voice, beneath the unseen stars, away from all others. In tapping his inner self, he begins to build up an understanding of the behaviours he will come to adopt. Set amidst all this angst and wrangling, is the natural world. It becomes a grounding focus for the psychological explorations undertaken by the young man. His own developing feelings arise from the same nutrients that leak from the balloon cotton bushes that run beside the path. This work represents the fruition of a long search for a technique and a language that progresses literature. The book need not be read from first page to last; instead, it may be opened at any page and enjoyed in whatever manner the reader sees fit.
