After Reah's brush with death, she is understandably distrustful of most of her mates. Striking out on her own, she is determined to investigate a rash of child disappearances across the universes, in and outside the Alliances. The evil she discovers in the course of her investigations could bring all worlds to their knees if Reah doesn't find a way to destroy it.

4.5 Stars MAJOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT: I liked this book. It was fast paced and there was never really a dull moment. I actually debated reading it after what happened in the last book, but I am really glad I did. Some of the characters in this series frustrate me to no end but I think a part of me loves that a series can make me go through a lot of different emotions like this one can. There are many times that I want to cry my eyes out at the injustice some of the characters receive, but want to yell at a bunch of characters the next. Reah was great. She really is coming into her own and realizing just how powerful she is. I felt like she stood up to the men in her life and told them how it was going to be. She made some really tough choices concerning some of them and I ultimately agree with her about most of them. The only thing I might've disagreed with was how fast she forgave Teeg. I do feel like he deserved forgiveness after this book but I feel like he should have had to grovel just a little bit more. I am furious with Wylend at the moment. He used to be one of my favorite male characters for Reah but after the way he treated her in this book, I don't think their relationship is repairable. What he did was wrong on so many levels and I feel like he is paying the price for it with Wyatt's death. I also feel like Griffin finally got what was coming to him. Neither Wylend nor Griffin would listen to Wyatt and look where it got them. I hope they learned their lesson. Tory.. Tory.. Tory.. To be blunt, he fucked messed up. I agree 100% with Reah that he wasn't ready to have a child and after his actions in this book, I think he proved that to everyone. I mean come on! Wylend tells him something and instead of talking to Reah about it, he goes out and gets drunk. Then, he marries some hot stranger off the street that he met ten minutes ago?! Are you kidding me?! That was wrong on so many levels and I really don't see how he could possibly make it up to Reah. Set aside the fact that he married the girl. He flaunted her in front of Reah like a teenage boy trying to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. It made me sick. Tory better get his act together if he ever wants any kind of relationship with Reah or his children. That's all I've got to say. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked that a lot of plot lines from the previous books were resolved while also introducing a bunch of new ones into the story. While Tory and Wylend made me really mad, I was also really happy for Reah at times. She finally got her Falchani and her Larentii and now she is pregnant with twins! I know that she has a few more mates to come and I am excited to meet them as well. That Epilogue confused me a little so I am very interested to find out what part this Hanlekidus Frebell has to play in the upcoming installments. I can't wait to read it myself and find out!
OMG! Could Tory be any less of a spineless dickwad!!!! How could he! And what about Wyrlend? Seriously! Wyrlend is the worst. His deceit was the last straw. And what about what happen to poor Wyatt. I liked him. We didn't see much of his character and I don't want to sound cruel, but I really enjoyed seeing Griffin and Wyrlend suffering. I'm sure in the next book we will see huge troubles caused by Tory new "wife". May I just say that Lissa did a terrible job raising them. Gavril and Tory are terrible mates and I wish Kifirin would remove Tory's marks. Kirifin will no doubt cause new trouble, he was plotting something bad for Reah at the end of the book. Can't wait to read it.
I loved this book. I like to call it Reah finally gets back a little and the guys get to suffer. I don't like how the guys in this series, or Lissa's series, seem to view forgiveness as something you deserve cause it makes you feel better. No! The only reason Reah should ever forgive someone is because she has in her heart gotten past it, not cause the dude is whining about how bad it hurts HIM that she hasn't gotten over his betrayal. I think that is what bothers me the most.
Love these books, despite how abusive the relationships are in them. -le sigh-
I'm not liking the high demon race they are something else. When is she going to stick up for herself? When is someone going to stop controlling her? I'm getting frustrated with the story but then more drama occurs and I can't wait to find out more.
I was blown away by many of the blindsides in this book. This book isn't leaving me warm and fuzzy. I was hoping for Reah and her mates to reconcile things and things keep just getting worse.
Fabulous! Reah sees some real growth here and has some amazing experiences. I so enjoyed this novel and the direction the author has taken the series. Highly recommended!
The review below is what I wrote for demon lost book one, but I am just realizing now that the online Demon Lost I found was actually Book 4 Demon Quest. From I started the book I was wondering how the book started like that and if there was a book before it. I even asked Connie if there was series to be read before this. Book 2 and 3 kept going back and I was wondering why these didn't come first, I kept asking myself why connie wrote the book like this when it was the site that had the Title of the books wrong. I enjoyed each book but it messed up my experience. So now I have to go read book 1, but I am going to continue and when I am finish I go back and read book 1.
I am enjoying the introduction of another mega lead female Reah. No one can come against Lissa but so far Reah has her own problems and hardship she has endured. as well as some awesome power.
She had around eight to ten mates so far and she has trouble with if not all more than half of them, She has renounced 2 because Wylend has ease dropped on her private conversation and now she is pregnant and she and the father of her children are not speaking to each other. He has done something that may have damage is relationship with Reah and his future children.
This series is sooooo addictive along with the BLOOD DESTINY series. It's like an outer space soap opera.
I struggle with the main heroine Reah. She is kick ass then a door mat, saves a planet then turns insecure and takes off to hide. In this future universe there are vampires, were wolves, shifters, demons, warlocks and powerful giant blue guys known as Larentii She is still dealing with her abusive upbringing and family which makes her strong yet vulnerable and afraid to trust. She grows more into her powers and reunites with a few of her estranged mates. In this future universe females are rare and have multiple mates and Reah is collecting them faster than Anita Blake minus the orgies. As always the story pulls together and the ending is full of action and cliffhangers. The big bad is still the RaAk creatures that infect and eat humans. The list of characters is getting longer and it took a few chapters to remember them all especially when they have two or three names. As frustrating as the storyline gets at times I still can't wait til the next release, so she can heal some more planets and cook everyone gourmet meals.
Demon's Quest didn't start out as well as some of the other books by Connie Suttle, it felt more like the second half of book 3. But after the first little bit I really got into it and couldn't put it down, as i have come to expect from the author. I won't give away any spoilers but I found that Reah continued to grow through the book although I felt that we didn't get to see much of some of my previously favourite characters (not that all of them are favourites after what they do im this book). I gave it 5 stars but I really wanted to give it 4 and a half, there is just something missing from this book in comparison to the rest of the series, it feels like a gap fill, an in between story. It's still worth the read and it reveals several things about the big players giving ever more clues as to who they are and what they are doing. The price is also incredible, connie suttle could double the prices of her books and I still wouldn't think twice about buying them straight away, and from someone on a student budgets that is indeed high praise.
Demon's Quest is about Reah trying to help some missing children. She doesn't really trust her mates any longer, and things haven't been so good with her recently. She's going to do everything she can to help rescue these kids no matter what anyone says.
This book was another good one, and another great addition to this series. However, I felt bad for Reah during all of this. It's horrible that this is going on. I'm excited to read more in this series.
Great book, I love all the charactors in the High Demon series all four books are excellent. Demon's Quest made me laugh, cry and all out anger, I loved it. Connie once again great job I love your work no matter what anyone else says Keep up the good work. Now take time to look around at God's creations, including your family and friends and rest.

Connie Suttle has the gift of conveying the purest and darkest part of ourselves, the most devastating tragedies, the deepest of human emotions and the various consequences of our actions in an entertaining fantasy novel. I laugh , I cry, I can't stop reading! (I do wish some characters would get it together though!)
I love how the characters all continue in Connie' books! Lots of action and all the feels. Yeah once again has bad patches but is a great character. If you never read these books you start at her first ones as they all have character that continue to grow with the series and become frinds. Lo ed it!
Wahh!!! Another book from Connie Suttle you just can´t put down until the very end. Cost me to sleep only 2 hours before working on Monday, not the brighest idea haha.
Action is never stopping, emotions run high all along... what more do you need? AH, I know: THE FOLLOWING BOOK!!:)
Every book in this series keeps me glued to the pages until the end. So much happens to Reah that you just want to hug her. She definitely needs to forget Tory and Wylend. I'm so happy she finally got Nefrigar!!!
Reah has gained more control over her own destiny, at the cost of losing two of her mates. She is growing in power and ability,& has the birth of her children to look forward to. I am eagerly awaiting further books in this series.
I keep seeing a theme I don't like. Barbie meets Ken #323. Ken eventually hurts poor little Barbie and mates #1 to whatever come to rescue her. She gets carried around a lot, fed, fucked and lied too. Another man to the rescue. Repeat.
