Noisy Train is such a cute and fun read that promotes encouragement to read with children. This book demonstrates what to do in a difficult situation by evolving problem solving skills. The story is of the Noisy train who toots his whistle to say hello to his friends the Sheep and the Sheepdog. Sadly, this friends do not appreciate this loud noise and ask him to stop. When trouble approaches, and sheep are on the track, he must make a decision on what to do. This struggle is then resoled when the Train decides to make a loud noise to draw attention to the issue. The ending results in the Trains friends rejoicing in the fact that he is so noisy. The genre of the book would be k-4, specifically Kindergarten. It would act as a great read aloud book and supply as a great topic for solving problems. I rated this book 5 stars because it is simple, yet it demonstrates a difficult decision. The dominate themes carried in this book include, friendship, respect, and decision making for the morally correct thing to do.
