Title in German:
Medizin der Erde
Again a book by Susanne Fischer. I admit I love her books and I have several of them on by bookshelf. This one deals with 32 herbal plants, their description, when to gather them, storing and the preperation of remedies. Legends and myths around the plant give insight in ancient traditions and superstition. The only thing I regret is that the illustrations are in black-and-white and honestly - I wouldn´t recognize a plant in the nature. With colored photos it would be a lot easier to identify them. I can really recommend this book to everybody interested in naturopathy.

Wiederum ein Buch von Susanne Fischer. I gebe es zu, ich mag ihre Bücher und ich habe schon einige auf meinem Bücherregal. Dieses beschäftigt sich mit 32 Heilpflanzen, ihre Beschreibung, Vorkommen, die günstigste Sammelzeit, Aufbewahrung und die Herstellung von Pflanzenheilmittel. Legenden und Mythen um die betreffende Pflanze runden das Buch ab. Bedauerlicherweise sind die Zeichnungen nur in Schwarz-Weiß und ich muss zugeben, ich würde die Pflanzen in der Natur aufgrund dieser Zeichnungen nicht erkennen. Mit farbigen Fotos würde es viel einfacher sein sie zu erkennen. Ansonsten kann ich dieses Buch jedem empfehlen, der an Naturheilkunde interessiert ist.
