When cowboy Dan Granger hires etiquette diva Lilia London for a crash course in manners, she has no idea what she's getting into. His twang and his rough manners are foreign to well-bred Lilia. still, she's determined to polish him.Her task would be much easier if Dan wasn't so mouthwatering - the six-pack riding above his belt along is enough to make her mix up her forks. And when he offers to teach her his own theory on sexual etiquette - Uncivilization 101 - how can she resist? But is a sensual trip into hedonism enough to counteract a lifetime of proper behavior? As Lilia's professionalism reasserts itself, she realizes she has to let her sexy Texan go...unless she can convince herself to do an advanced degree in Uncivilization.

Karen Kendall is the author of many disasters and nine romantic comedies. She grew up in Austin, Texas, and credits her early interest in writing to several teachers and her mother, a professor of comparative literature.

A graduate of Smith College, Karen studied the mysteries of modern and contemporary art before enrolling in a masters program in Museum Education, with the aim of teaching children about art. She worked for several museums and galleries before following her lifelong dream and completing a novel.

Karen is still a big fan of children's art, but she now writes full time and lives in Florida with her husband, Don, and attack-cat Boo, who turns up her nose at chicken and fish but adores asparagus and mint-chocolate-chip ice cream.

I've read this book lots of times. One of my favorite reads. I read it as a distraction from whatever romance genre I'm into at the time

This was a quirky and cute read. Lil has been raised by her proper, English grandmother and acts according to nana's voice in her head and watching her from above. Dan is a Texas cowboy and makes no excuses about it and doesn't see any problem with it. They spark off each other and Lil's 'manners' get in the way as they clash with Dan's wild ways. They work at getting to know each other and it all comes together at is sister's wedding in England. A book has to leave me with chills when I am done to get 5 stars, and this one did!

I really think it's quiet funny cause I giggled when I read first three pages. :))
Starting from "Haaaaaa", "fark", ... :))
And Dan was truly an alpha male, for he himself claimed that he's an alpha dog. ^^

Oh, wish I had the first book of this series.

Decent characterization and story with minimal stereotyping, though there were some inconsistencies to the characters from time to time over what they’d been established as being.
