I didn't find this funny at all. I get the story about how chain reactions are started but we could do without the farmer hitting the mule with his pitchfork!
This circular story begins with a bee who- buzz buzz buzz- stings a bull. Bad feelings are spread from one character to another until its returns to another bee to start the cycle all over again.

Skill: Phonological Awareness (The reader can emphasize the z-sound in buzz to promote recognition of sounds in words.)
Clever and hilarious. The story is a chain of events that starts with the bee stinging the bull. Getting an "a-ha!" moment and a good laugh at the end, follow the story and pictures again. It is a humorous depiction of a circular path of frustration, transferred with no particular reason from one human or animal to another. This book is for children and for adults - colorful pages, life lessons.
The story is cute but I did not like the hitting in it--spoiler alert: the farmer hit the mule, the goat butts the dog, etc. Although the pictures showed very mild hitting, I think there is too much animal abuse in this world, so even just the thought, even in jest, it bothered me.
This book should have the subtitle: "Farm Animals Being Naughty." It should be used as a teaching tool to demonstrate how one negative action can have a domino effect socially. Otherwise, I don't see much value in this book.
A bee stinging a bull leads to a chain reaction throughout the farm that ends with the bee stinging the bull. A good example of cause and effect, however, some of the reactions in this circle of events are negative like kicking, hitting, and yelling that are definitely not humorous and should be discouraged.
This book is not even hilarious, it's disturbing why express too much anger and pass it on and hitting animals? It's like a chain reaction anger... what is he thinking? Teaching the kids how to react that way? Get rid of that book!!! End of story..
