Chapter 14-Why Pray is the best chapter of this book, and has given me specific direction on how I approach my daily quiet time. +

This was a book I could not put down. It was autobiographical and inspirational at the same time. Some gems in her book are: "We forgive when we stop looking to the one who injured us to make it right." For Bible study to take place "there must be a real committment to truth." She listed many scriptures that can help the reader in adoration, confession, and thanksgiving to God as one prayes. I like the fact that she mentioned difficulty in blending her and James Bakers family without airing the "dirty laundry" of the family, therefore, she can have a meaniful relationship with these adult children. It is alway wise to be careful of anything we write down if we want to relate to others. While she has rubbed shoulders with world leaders she alo displays a certain sence of humility that is touching.
